Fantastic experience every time! We have had a family membership for several years. Just took my kids, husband, and out of town relatives including my 84 year-old Grandpa and everyone had a blast. My aunt commented how much more approachable and casual it is compared to the Chicago Art Institute. Both are world class but ours is so much easier for families and diverse groups like ours. With dim sum two blocks away and a lovely park to the south we spent our day around our AGO trip!!

This is really a high quality art gallery! They have lots of lovely pieces from European artists and also Canadian artists including the Group of Seven. I love this diversity and love that they also have a free admission day. If you are on a budget you can still enjoy some excellent art!

Some nice world-famous classics. Good Canadian classics, incl. Group of Seven & Tom Thompson. Decent info plaques. Gift shop too pricey. Spotless and orderly galleries; professional staff. Visitors always very quiet.

AGO is my favourite place to go in Toronto. I have been a member for several years and attended all the major Exhibitions. Gallery has a great "aura" and staff works hard to expose us to a better things in life. I recommend to take a guided tour to see Highlights of the collection, it is quite informative and led by the passionate guides. The Member's Lounge is a nice place to take a break or enjoy afternoon tea. I am a fan.

We were there for the Infinity mirror show. It was a bit crowded but the staff were great at guiding people through. The show was fantastic and entertaining, some of the pictures came out great while the rest were just weird. The gift store always has something interesting and unique to buy or to play with. Always a great place to visit when you are downtown. Make sure to walk there, great restaurants in the area.
