Had a great day today. Our boys loved the minature train ride. The female with black hair and brown skin tone was very friendly she drove the train. But the skinny female with brown hair was very unwelcoming. Sour face on her. She punched the tickets at the time we went. The main thing is our boys enjoyed themselves. And for the first time ever they finally posed in front of every old train for a photo!

I really enjoyed the museum and the outdoor displays of the trains and was well worth it. I know there was a lot of negative reviews about the indoor presentation being too small but when does anyone have the opportunity to see the trains up close in person and go inside them , that alone is worth the admission. Highly recommend this exhibit.

The Toronto Railway Museum does an excellent job showcasing the very exciting history of Toronto and Canada's railway history. The Museum is located in the historic John St. Roundhouse. The Roundhouse was the former Toronto repair facility for the Canadian Pacific Railway. The majority of the museum is outside but I also highly recommend going to check out the inside portion of the museum. The inside portion is not large by any means but they do their best to ensure that each inch of the space is filled with some sort of exibit. I especially recommend this museum for any railway buff or anyone who will be taking the train across Canada. I had the great opertunity to perform at the grand opening of the museum in 2010 and closely watched the evolution of the museum since about 2006. Since he museum opened they have continued to expand and create many new exhibits that continue to turn the museum into a must-see attraction in Toronto.

What a gem. Never seen anything structured quite like it. The location can't be beat either. Base of the tower. Great city views. Fountain across street.

a great place to visit. many old train displays for free. not worth to spend 5 dollars to see small workshop. finding a car park is a nightmare.
