Ive been coming to the Royal Ontario Museum for the last 28 years and it has definitely continued to get better with age. This is a very family-friendly activity with a lot of learning opportunities. Im always a bit humbled when I come to a high quality museum because of the incredible ingenuity of humans over thousands of years. These artifacts serve as a reminder of human potential. Its truly an excellent place for artists seeking inspiration. 10/10 experience and worth an annual visit if you have the luxury of getting to live in Toronto!

Great, rich and accessible place to teach school students, academics and children. The are a lot different types of antiques there. You really will must reserve a full day to visit all rooms of the museum with calm. P. S. If you like dinosaurs and other types wild animals, you really will go love there. Good luck!

Well appointed museum. Focused more on natural history than human history however this hasn't been neglected. There is a large display of animals from dinosaur skeletons through taxidermy of contemporary animals and supporting models and narrative. While a good museum, the entry price was a bit of a shock having just visited the British Museum in London and the Glasgow museum which offer free general admission and only charge for special exhibitions... I guess that there are different philosophical underpinnings of the use of museums and that price should never be a barrier to learning.

Gorgeous very impressive largest museum in Canada. Alluring very unique architecture and one of a kind exterior design. Looks like crown jewel of museums, Bloor street looks even more luxurious and beautiful. It hosts many exhibits and fantastic exhibitions from all over the world. You cant see all of them in one visit but still you can see a lot of fabulous sculptures, exhibits, arts and much more. Doesnt matter how many times l come its always very interesting and fun. Fantastic area for kids on the second floor. Nice souvenir shop and selection of food. No picture or reviews do it justice you have to experience for yourself and enjoy spending time there admiring historical artwork and many fantastic exhibits. A lot to learn. Wonderful day to spend through pieces of history. Mesmerizing.

This is one of the best museums I've ever been to. There's so much to see you so you can't get thru it all unless you go early. There's an impressive display of Canada's First People; a detailed history of Natives. There's a large collection of various cultures where you can fully emerge in the rich cultures of the world. The second floor is dedicated to nature; plants, animals, and ecosystems. It's a wonderful place to visit but parking is limited.
