I just want to refer to Marlisa Lloyd’s story as I was present at the time of the “incident” first of all she came twice, the first time wanting to pick up the doggy before it was ready, that’s when she “noticed” the “bad environment” and I can tell you these are false accusations there were two dogs on working tables being treated with the most care as each dog who comes to dog and groom and a third dog who was relaxing while waiting for it’s turn, the reason Ms. Lloyd got upset, I assume is cause she was asked to come back when the doggy was ready, each dog has a schedule and hers was waiting for it’s turn. This is when she came and wrote that review. The second time she came to pick up her doggy, doggy was being finished and Ms. Lloyd immediately started accusing the groomer of mistreating the dog which is totally false. I dare to say the negative vibes weren’t in the room till she came in.
if you love your furry pets. DO NOT COME HERE!! I happen to walk in to check on my dog and in the mids- I witnessed the “groomer” lady harshly grabbing my dog by the neck to stay put. The energy in there is very uncomfortable- the other dogs looked petrified. The lady’s vibe is completely off where the dogs don’t seem to be treated humanly. For the sake of your pet’s safety- find an actual spa that won’t traumatize your dog Additional Comment: Alejandra Raviela, who responded to my original review, works under the same groomer I had a serious issue with. It makes sense that she would feel the need to defend her employer, even if that means giving a false version of what actually happened. Her comment does not reflect the truth of the situation, but rather an attempt to protect someone whose actions deserve to be questioned. What truly matters here is how my dog was treated. When I spoke up and expressed concern about the way the groomer was handling my dog, she instantly became defensive. It was not the reaction of someone who had nothing to hide. Instead of responding with care or professionalism, she started yelling at me, which only raised more red flags. I kept calm and focused, because my main concern was the safety and well-being of my dog. That moment showed me exactly why I needed to speak out. It is not just about what happened to my pet, but about making sure other animals do not go through the same thing in that kind of environment.
@ Joy the owner. I actually ended up finding the place I went to originally on Mount Pleasant when I arrived they didn't ask me what breed my dog was or that I should put a muzzle on him or not. As a matter of fact I do know what breed my dog is I have 2 of them but I find irrelevant as I am a responsible dog owner and any dog regardless of the breed can be unpredictable as you know they are indeed animals. All I am saying is you should state on your website that not all dogs are welcome and include all the power breeds. My dogs are power breeds and yes I can't imagine how many irresponsible people there may be but doesn't mean everyone is. I am %1000 on top of mine unlike many who aren't with the toy breeds. Unfortunately, perhaps because of my uncertainty at where I went months ago and being tired from working outdoors building buildings I came across as suspect being tired and all but all good again I am sure you do great work. All I am saying is advertise your business properly that "pitbulls" cannot be serviced lol ? Labradors, chihuahuas, and golden retriever are know to bite people and other dogs more often than pitts.
After 8 years, we finally found an amazing dog groomer. She understood right the way what exactly I wanted. She is really stylist,I love, love, love her work!!! I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to groom their puppy. Thank you, Joy. From now on, we will be lifelong clients .♥️♥️♥️
Dog & Groom does a wonderful job on dog haircuts and specialty "hand-strip" for dog's coats that shouldn't be cut (we have our border-terrier mix hand-stripped several times a year here). Joy loves dogs and getting them looking good - our dog doesn't fear her or the location so we know she treats her well while getting our dog looking like new (smile). Previous reviewers seem to be commenting on a doggie day-care, this is dog grooming.
My sentiments exactly Jess H!!!! The worse place I've ever been to.!!! Never never never again!!!!! Jess H stated the honest truth but I had an even worse experience. My little gal went in with a doggie smell and medical cream on a spot on her back and came out with a doggie smell and medical cream still on her back...yes, I pointed it out but all I got was bland stares and mumbling I pointed this out when she had finished bathing and after her blow dry and after her nail clipping...GOOD GRIEF...She tried to ignore me so I repeated myself, a few times. Response, "oh, it must be the rag", as she proceed to wrap it around her head! The blow dry was cold air! Price for a bath $50.00 plus an additional cost for the nail clipping ARE YOU KIDDING ME... I can go on....you have been fore warned! NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!! We couldn't get out of there fast enough.
This place is horrible! I will never ever go there again and would never recommend this place. It was chaos inside. Dogs were barking and tied to furniture. It was dirty. The customer service was terrible. My dog was so wet when I picked him up from his bath and it was the most pricey bath I'd ever paid for in the area! And because he was still wet, he's just going to stink again. Terrible. Never go here!!!! I want my money back.
