Staff is friendly and punctual on appointments. The owner has had knowledge of our dogs hair style. We have 2 giant schnauzer and a standard schnauzer. When they are done at this place they look properly taken care. We have been using them for years.
My two big, rambunctious rescues love going to Metro Hound! They are treated so kindly, calmly and professionally - and they always look beautiful! My American Cocker Spaniel named Benson had his first haircut and Mario did a fantastic job and he is a highly skilled groomer. Benson says: I LOVE YOU MARIO AND MY HAIRCUT IS SOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL.
Asked for our dog to get a really good trim. Ears and haunches were unevenly cut but otherwise she basically looked like she did when she left the house. Called and expressed our unhappiness before posting a review and were told that (despite my specific requests when booking the appointment) that my partner failed to repeat those requests when dropping off our pet. The person I spoke with said it was a game of "telephone" and took no responsibility for our disappointment. I was also chastised for not calling "the day after when we could have done something about it." I mentioned we'd had a death in the family so I waited to follow up. Still no empathy. Blaming the customer doesn't really work for me. Seems they have plenty of business so losing ours is irrelevant. We've had far better grooms elsewhere.
We recently took our very anxious beagle here and cannot say enough good things! They were patient with him gave him lots of love and made sure a scary experience for him was a positive one. We will definitely be back and recommend Metro Hound to all of our friends! Thank you so much!
We’ve been taking our Pomeranian/Papillon mix here for over a year and we’re always blown away by their attention to detail and friendliness. They treat our nervous rescue with so much care and the cuts always turn out unbelievably cute!
