Dope pharmacy, real community feel. I don't speak Polish but it's always cool to see the pharmacist speaking with the old ladies in their language. Makes you feel like they have clients and relationships, not just customers. Also the mail people are always super quick, and the general staff have been quite helpful to me at times! Plus, a good selection of bits and bobs, I even bought socks here once!
I stopped by to buy an over-the-counter medication, and the cashier was incredibly friendly—even though it was almost the end of her shift. I honestly wasn’t expecting that kind of kindness, but it really made my day. Little moments like that go a long way!
FOR THE POST OFFICE I feel bad for putting 1 star because not everyone is bad at this place specially I live in the neighborhood but today there’s this Lady at the post office who was so rude! I sealed my package and taped the label I printed from the library using there tape in the front. I don’t understand why after serving me she said “Normal people tape their packages at home before coming here” I am so embarrassed. I just printed the label from library on the way there because I don’t have printer at home. Is that mean I am not “Normal” Do I need to go to library and go back home to tape it and go out again just to satisfy her? and not to mention I have my baby with me? Did I make her tape it? does she pays for the tape? did I affect her job? Some people don’t need to work for customer service with an attitude like that! There’s a short lady with glasses and short hair that was nice! I wish she is the one that always there not this shoulder hair rude lady!
Helen is so nice and helpful. This is my go-to post office and I've had nothing but great service. Helen specifically goes above and beyond to help and advise on shipping and package. I will continue to bring my business here. Thanks Helen!
Poor security. Walked into the store. Old guy was on his knee loading chocolate to a big bag. And walked out like nothing happen. Told the staff you just got robbed and they didn't do anything
If I could give this place no stars I would. My service was terrible, I had the entrance door slammed in my face which hit me by one of the workers as a way of her telling me that they decided to close early. The two women in the post office were also mean, tried to overcharge me and gossiped about my friend as if I couldn't hear me. I have had nothing but terrible experiences here lately.
Illegal price gouging. Claiming to being gouged themselves, yet no efforts are being made to report their "supplier" for exploiting panic during a public health crisis. You could refuse to pay the increase if it came unannounced but instead chose to continue selling this crooked companies product at the increased rate. Deal with your supplier and have them answer to the authorities!
Clean store and the cashier was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Only one pharmacist has ruined my experience. The rest of the staff are amazing, but not the pharmacist I dealt with. This particular pharmacist was extremely rude and did know how to compound my prescription. When I first arrived to the drop off area, I'd asked if the pharmacist to speak to the compound pharmacist, she replied that "she is the compound pharmacist." Then the pharmacist had the audacity to call another pharmacist, right in front of me asking how to make my prescription. When I gave my medical history on certain medications I'm allergic to, she brushed it off and ignored me. After watching the pharmacist's constant inconsistency(if the woman is actually a pharmacist), I politely declined having the prescription filled, the rude pharmacist sat back down in her chair, turned her back towards me, and threw my prescription script at me like she was throwing out trash. Not only could I've been potentially poisoned or worse, dead. Save yourself the hassle and or potential lethal dosing, please go somewhere else
I have used this drug store regularly for years. Have had no problems with the prescription staff. They are usually busy when I visit. I'm surprised someone found they were rude. The prices are about the same as Shoppers, that is, for matching products, a discount shop is cheaper, but I would not call them very expensive. The selection is good, it has some Polish goods too like cards and health products.
Pharmacists was very very rude, denied my prescriptions, because she needed to "verify " it and did not provide me with my medications . Very disrespectful pharmacists !!!!!
This Guardian drug store offers the community a great deal of value. With in it it has a post office which connects it even more to the surrounding Roncesvalles area. I've noticed that its service is excellent. What's especially noteworthy is how much they cater to the local Polish Community. But I have never found it exclusive. It is Well stocked and at Christmas time I was able to pick up quite a few Christmas cards at a good price. It seems to be owned locally and I suspect it contributes a great deal to the local economy. So my fellow Canadians please frequent this type of drug store. It may be Roncesvalles finest.
