I'm not here to pile on with the negative reviews but for those considering using this Shoppers as their pharmacy I can confirm the service is of lower quality vs. other Shoppers locations I've used. The fulfilment of prescriptions is very slow and picking up the prescription in the store takes a long time. The Shoppers store itself isn't bad by any means.

Loss prevention made me miss my train because I was trying to use my PCpoints and apparently they don’t work if you’re not using intervals of $10 in redeeming them. 4 stars only because people obviously shouldn’t be robbing but it’d be nice if the employees actually know what they’re talking about rather than wasting time.

Incompetent and lazy pharmacists, especially the lady with hijab. Learn how to serve your customers properly and stop slacking. People have things to do and places to go, not coming back again.

the staff are so friendly and helpful! the cute boy working at cash named adrian is so helpful! edit: Aug 22 2025 the AC in here is not working holy smokes!! i feel bad for the employees it is HOT

In 2019, this pharmacy nearly killed me. I was given diabetes medication when I do not have diabetes, and if I had gone to bed without calling Telehealth, I would have died. Instead was over 12 hours in hospital, having my fingers pricked every half hour as my glucose continued to drop and eating dextrose tabs one after the other. I consulted a lawyer and the pharmacy had the gall to try to fight it. After a report to the College of Pharmacists, I received an apology and an explanation that the person making up the medication made a mistake. I'm no pharmacist but I am in medicine and medication should be checked numerous times and even be "buddy verified" by another staff member. I know this review is years later, but I strongly suggest you google the appearance of the medication you get from this location to ensure it is the proper one.

I had an issue this month, where I couldn't find a particular medication supplied anywhere. But this shoppers pharmacists came thru and had it shipped from their warehouse the very next day. Despite the cost, I'm very grateful these pharmacists were dedicated & found a way to get me this medication! There was a pharmacist with glasses & dark hair who helped alot. Thank u! Only 1 less star as this pharmacy isn't my go to as they often take a longer time to fill prescriptions. Probably the close proximity to the subway station & multitude of apartments.

Came in for something a bit urgent and despite it being pretty busy, they helped me get the meds I needed right away and I really really appreciated this, pharmacy staff are super sweet! Thank you
