For some reason my secondary insurance cannot be processed here while it works at every other Shoppers I've been to in BC, AB, and even the shoppers on 728 yonge street (Ontario). Very strange but not a problem because I'd rather use a pharmacy that can process a simple Assure/Telus insurance.
I went to this location for a French passport photo and they were incompetent. The assistant manager Soheil was rude and useless. They were unable to take the photo with the correct specifications and after several failed attempts, he had the audacity to tell me that he couldn’t print any more photos because it’s “very expensive”. They didn’t even have a ruler to measure the specs ! Thankfully I found a ruler on the shelf but overall this was a TERRIBLE experience ! Do not go here for passport photos !!!
Uncomfortable service. I was walking through the halls with a basket in my hand, picking different things that I will bought. The girl at the counter in the cosmetics side asked me if I needed help (a normal thing) but after she offered me take all the basket to the counter (it wasn’t full or heavy) so I told her that I will need more time because I will buy more things. I don’t know if it was a misunderstanding, but after what I said she literally stay waiting and almost taking by herself the basket of my hands. I felt so uncomfortable and invaded like if you were excepting that I will stole something
I visited this Shoppers Drug Mart location to return a cosmetic item, but the manager refused to process my refund, claiming I had made too many returns and that my purchase was made using points. She only want me to do an Exchange. The last time I returned anything at this store was over four months ago, so I found this treatment to be unfair and frustrating. The bald male manager came across as distrustful and overly suspicious, making the whole experience uncomfortable. I later went to a different Shoppers Drug Mart location, and the return was handled quickly and without any issues. I don’t recommend shopping at this location based on my experience. But I’ll make sure to tell my all friends to only refund at your location.
Went to the this location for some makeup/perfume buys. The sales woman, I believe her name was Sabeen (not sure of the spelling) was friendly, helpful and patient. I attended 2 different days as I couldn't decide on what GIVENCHY perfume I wanted, she didn't make me feel pressure to buy, and eventually helped me decide! This cosmetic dept has pleasant, knowledgeable staff!
Very rude pharmacist , she didn’t want to explain to me how to use my new medication. I had to call different pharmacy to get information. Apparently she is the owner of the pharmacy and she thinks she is entitled to act like that
I have been a loyal customer of the Shoppers Drug Mart located at the Manulife Centre for quite some time now, and I can confidently say it has become my go-to spot for all my shopping needs! The convenience of this location is unbeatable, especially being right next to Eataly, Dark Horse Coffee, Indigo, and Independent CityMarket. It’s perfect for a quick stop while I’m out and about in the area. While I acknowledge that this Shoppers is smaller than some of the other locations, it still manages to carry a wide range of products that I typically need. Over the years, I’ve found that I can usually find most essentials here, although there are times when I have to venture to the Cumberland Terrace location for items that are out of stock. Unfortunately, my experiences at Cumberland Terrace have been less than pleasant due to the attitude of some staff members, which has made me feel uncomfortable during my visits. In contrast, my experience at the Manulife Centre has been consistently positive, particularly thanks to a lovely employee named Tasheen. She is incredibly friendly, hardworking, and always goes above and beyond to assist customers. Her warm demeanor truly stands out, making my shopping experience enjoyable. It’s refreshing to encounter someone who genuinely cares about providing excellent customer service! I do want to note that while the overall shopping experience at this location is great, I would advise avoiding the beauty boutique section. I’ve noticed that the staff there tend to follow customers around, which can be quite uncomfortable, especially when I’m just trying to browse. It’s disheartening to feel watched, even when purchasing something as simple as a $5 lip gloss. Overall, I highly recommend the Shoppers Drug Mart at Manulife Centre for its convenient location and the exceptional service provided by Tasheen. After many visits over the years, it’s definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area! Thank you, Tasheen, for consistently making my shopping experience a pleasant one!
