I have unfortunately experienced extremely discriminatory behavior at this specific Shoppers Drug Mart branch. While I have noticed that, overall, some locations treat people differently based on social status, over the past few years I have personally been directly discriminated against and, at times, refused services that should be available to everyone in Canada. On multiple occasions, I was told that I could not come to the store if I did not like their behavior. Ultimately, I accepted an offer to resolve the situation, and I wish I had done so sooner. However, I must note that this particular branch has a very toxic environment and a group of staff whose behavior is unacceptable.

This is the worst shoppers in entire north York region, the first time I went to buy wireless Apple charger the cashier said she doesn’t know what that means and the second time I went there to buy a bag of milk the cashier said that the cash machine was not working and told me to pay by card but I only had cash so they kept me waiting for 30 minutes and despite waiting they still didn’t do my billing, atlast I had to leave without buying anything, no wonder why there are so many negative comments against this shoppers location, increase your labour( with basic knowledge of technology) and stop giving shitty service

I was there at Shoppers bathurst and lawrence plaza to return 1 of my item that i bought it recently and i lost my receipt. i told her i paid my debit and i open my mobile apps banking and show to her the amount and she keeps pushing me beside the counter and ignore me. Around 12: 49 pm Nov. 23 2025 the lady was on duty was RUDE . telling come back tomorrow there is no Supervisor on duty to do it. i dont understand how this kind of employee a bad behaviour talking to the customer not acceptable. she should not working infront if doesn’t know how to to return.

I see these ratings and feel bad, I have had nothing but good experience and treated with equality here. I love this place, the staff are friendly and kind.

I have never encountered staff as rude as tall female cashier(early 40s, long brunette hair)in my 74 years of life. I've never made a complaint about any other employee before,, I'm noticeably physically disabled but I wait my turn in line without complaint, as I should do. The first occasion, the cashier was chatting withe customer about a lot of different topics and mutual people they knew. After more than 5minutes with no indication of it wrapping up anytime soon. I was in pain and I was right behind the chatty customer and in a friendly tone asked if she could verify if the product that another employee said was in a certain aisle was correct.Ihad spent a long time searching and didn't know if it was my poor eyesight or the other employee's error. I was told in a very admonishing, loud voice by the cashier"You can wait!". I went back to the store a few months later and the exact same cashier was on duty and chatting with the same person as before. I was stuck on a paticular step in the self serve machine process and when she finally came to assist she made that clucking noise of disgust at me. It's been over a year, but I'd do without something rather than go back to that store

The vaccine procedure HURT A LOT! Got my flu and covid vaccines here, and the administering pharmacist named Hach clearly had no idea what he was doing. I've received many vaccines in the past and it never hurt so much, so immediately. They either have to give Mr. Hach more training or find a new pharmacist. Also, if you're too busy to answer the phone, hire another employee.

I love this store and the pharmacy. I have always had great service and always treated with respect and kindness. I have all my shots administered here and best application ever, never hurts, fast and clean facilities and great staff. Ignore the bad reviews, maybe it’s their attitude that begets bad experiences. I have mused this store for more than 20 years and no complaints.
