Rep Sony at SDM post office on 17/12 gave excellent service.She was patient, kind and very helpful under pressure. She deserves to be commended. She is an excellent employee and makes Canada Post proud.
I think the pharmacy staff offer efficient service and care. However, the store side is questionable. Customer service is non-existent at this location. The staff are not friendly, and somewhat rude or aggressive.
Poorest customer service ever, don't honour sale price and claim sale items are limited. Beauty rep lied staying that perfume is not retanable when asked for policy said it's a common knowledge. Lukly I bought it from a different store and return was a breeze
I order my prescriptions over an automated telephone system. It's quick and easy. Most times, my order is ready in 48 hours, and I can also get same day service if required. I love that it's in a plaza with ample free parking. Also in the plaza is a grocery store, dollar store, Scotia bank, nail salon, beauty salon for hair cuts, dentist, laundromat, variety store, and several fast food options.
Horrible customer service I’ve ever received by Shoppers. Well, I am not alone the reviews say it all. I’ve been working with shoppers since many years and today I was purchasing at self-checkout and I needed assistance to authorize and process my PDP transaction. So, I looked into few aisles and found the cashier talking with someone so I asked her for help and she was straight rude that she is busy instead of being professional and saying give me one moment. Then, I was waiting for her at the front for a bit and then she came , she was like you can’t do PDP at self checkout and started giving attitude for no reason. This store needs to train staff regarding shoppers drug mart front cash and pdp polices and according to 2025 PDP policy , employee can purchase at self checkout with the help of cashier by showing ID. I told her that you can authorize through your swipe card and making things easy for her. Just because she didn’t have swipe card with her which is her fault and I saw her blood was boiling with anger for real when I was explaining calmly about how pdp works. How can somebody work at the front cash and doesn’t have swipe card for the self checkout. She was angry and very rude and other customers were in shock too. I told her just because you forgot your swipe card or having a bad day it doesn’t mean you can’t treat anyone like this. SERIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING REQUIRED FOR HER (SHORT GIRL WEARING SPECTS, FILIPINA I guess ). I went through reviews and noticed she misbehaved with many customers and wondering how come no action was taken against her. Shoppers drug mart is well known for its best customer service experience but this store needs to do better !!!!!
My mom and I was here to look at perfumes and we were helped by Amelia who was extremely cheerful, helpful, insightful. Her help felt so personal and had my mom and I smiling the whole time! Whenever you come here especially to shop in the beauty section ask for Amelia!
Worst Shoppers Drug Mart in the area. 1. Pharmacy staff are very rude and unprofessional. You are called on the phone, that your prescription medication is ready, but when you go there, after waiting a good 20 minutes to be served, you discovered, that the pharmacy staff had filled the most expensive meds, even if the cheaper and covered ones are available and prescribed by your doctor. They charge a fee of $12.59 on top of your medication and not the covered one. I don't have time for their attitude, therefore I fill my prescriptions at Parkway Mall Metro pharmacy. 2. When you also ask the pharmacy staff for over the counter medication, they couldn't be bothered less, they mumble something to get rid of you and point you to an aisle, where you are on your own to find your medicine. It is a small pharmacy, lots of frustration for the consumer and a waste of time, trying to find what you need, with too much of an attitude for my liking, so pass!? 3. Same situation goes with the Post Office. One of their staff takes frequent washrooms breaks, never picks up the phone, if you received a mail delivery notice, are on hold for a good 5 minutes or more and again, if you ask where the package is from, then you are told, that she is not allowed to give this info, even though, at this particular location, she used to tell you. Now, all you get is, the robotic attitude, so she doesn't have to check the sender's destination, or why or who charged you a fee, to pick up your parcel and in the end you receive a "wishy-washy" customer service.? This post office clerk returned my parcels and those of my daughter's for several times. In the end am rerouting my packages somewhere else. This clerk is rude, pretentious and incompetent, with all her 20 years of experience, that she is so proud of. I bet you she had many unsatisfied customers with her services over the years. Don't understand, while she still works there and was not fired by now. What is the management thinking? Both the pharmacy and the post office, "talk down" to you, are demeaning and not helpful at all. They should be replaced, by all means, with other people, that want, need and can handle those jobs. 4. Cosmetic counter lead by Emilia provides a very good service, is attentive to customer needs and wants and am happy with her and some of her staff. 5. Gordon, the longest staff at this location, is very courteous and helpful when approached. Because of Emilia, Gordon and John the cashier's supervisor, which are very professional, I still visit SDM at this location. Otherwise, I couldn't be bothered with them. They need to straighten up their attitudes at Pharmacy, Canada Post Mail and restocking/grocery clerks. If they succeed in doing that, I will raise their ratings. Only then!
