Angela, the Pharmacist, was cordial, kind, and professional. She attended my needs and navigated my prescription challenge gracefully and delivered results. I’m a happy and satisfied customer driving back home with my meds. I hope management reads this message and commends her accordingly. She represents the local Team and the brand with dedication.
Never buy a gift card here. Received one from a friend with a receipt for funds paid and there was nothing on the card. When contacting customer service they said it's not their problem and to take it up with the store for which the gift card was issued for. Fraud.
Unpleasant Pharmacy Visit with the female pharmacy assistant – July 22nd (7:45 PM – 8:45 PM) I’m writing to express deep concern about a troubling experience I had at the pharmacy on the evening of July 22nd. I came in for the first time patient and called to another shoppers for prescription transfer as my work relocated near to this location and my usual pharmacy is closed by the time I finished work. I explained that I had unfortunately run out for three days and was urgently seeking a refill or early dispense to the male pharmacy assistant. I completely acknowledge that the delay in requesting a refill was my responsibility. However, I was simply trying to confirm whether the prescription had been received and if anything could be done to expedite the process. The situation became unnecessarily stressful due to the behavior of a female pharmacy assistant—who seemed to be a senior member of staff. From the start, she was unprofessional and dismissive. The female individual kept interrupting my interaction with a male pharmacy assistant, raising her voice and repeating, “We are doing our job … etc” in a visibly frustrated manner and complaining in the background while I was standing right by the desk. I was not yelling or being confrontational—just trying to ask questions as there was issue with my prescription transfer. Her reaction felt aggressive and completely uncalled for. What made this worse is that the medication in question was for anxiety, and the entire interaction significantly worsened my condition in the moment. At no point was I asked what the prescription was for or treated with any sensitivity or understanding regarding the urgency of the situation. It felt like the assistant lacked basic training in how to handle mental health prescriptions and patients who might already be in a fragile state. Thankfully, the male pharmacy assistant who assisted me showed genuine care. He listened patiently, took my concerns seriously, and tried to help within the scope of what he could do. I’m truly grateful for his professionalism and empathy. I hope this pharmacy seriously reconsiders how staff are trained, particularly in regard to interacting with patients dealing with mental health issues. A little empathy and calm communication go a long way. No one should leave a pharmacy more anxious or distressed than when they arrived.
I had such a lovely experience at Shoppers, all thanks to Raheela! She was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable while helping me choose the perfect fragrance. I was feeling overwhelmed with all the options, but she took the time to really understand what I liked and guided me so thoughtfully. Her recommendations were spot-on, and I walked away with a scent I absolutely love. Thank you, Raheela, for your wonderful service—you truly made my day!
It’s crazy you can go to a store for 5+ years spend hundreds of dollars with the same employee, given great reviews to help them and still be profiled because I have bags in my hand and a tote bag. France used to be the only employee that never made me feel profiled until today. She did her normal promotional deal but then it wasn’t until she proceeded to watch me because I went into a corner and look into my bags and walk from one end of the store to another. You need to have a bag check station or better yet close if you can’t trust your customers but still expect to take their money. This is so wrong. Shopping while black in any Loblaws affiliate is stressful and I really try to avoid it at all costs. The item I was coming in for was marked up $10 than the last time I came in so I didn’t buy anything which heightened my anxiety even more as I’m sure the assumption was I came to shoplift. Do better.
Is disgusting the customer service attitude and attention directly from “store manager” named Aman. I purchased Christmas light, just above a month ago, they stopped working a day before Christmas eve, and this man was not willing to negotiate with me so that I can resolve this and get a new set for this evening. I understand is more than a month, but I know they can do exceptions. it wasn’t gonna be the end of his business, just cant understand how someone that lacks so much empathy can be hired on a customer service department.
Booked a COVID-19 vaccine appointment on the portal; upon arrival waited less than 5 minutes before receiving the shot. Nurse practitioner was great; I barely felt the needle! Overall, fast, efficient and friendly service. Thank you!
