Food was mid, rather oily, wasnt satisfied with service and communication. I ordered a ramen and at the end was given something else without being told what it was until I returned and asked. They mentioned that they ran out of that item but I wasnt told before or even after purchase.
7.99 before tax for 3 pieces of old karage that came with wilted and old lettuce. broth was so salty had to throw it out and could not finish. just over $30 wasted on garbage food, wont be back. whoever was working on the line was drinking from soda can and touching so many things like tape roll on back shelf then going back to making food without even washing his hands so food safety an issue too. disappointed.
I ordered the black garlic ramen. The soup flavour was delicious. But the portion of noodles and the 1 slice of char siew and 1 slice of... chicken? Was very disappointed for the cost we paid. Won't be coming back
Ordered the gyudon ramen. Egg was very undercooked, white part was runny so did not look or taste appetizing. Also felt sick after eating so don’t know how fresh the ingredients were. I normally go to the actual restaurant locations and usually love their food, so I was a bit disappointed. The service was friendly though!
We ordered the chicken katsu and karaage as rice meals and gyoza and takoyaki as sides. Nothing really that stands out. it is basic food court Japanese food. The gyoza comes in free once you order a meal. It turns out that Gyoza is dry. Despite that, i love the flavour and especially if you are hungry. A great choice if ever you happen to be in Yorkdale mall. I wish they have more personnel as sometimes people kept lining up and thy are too busy to notice.
Midori Ramen at Yorkdale is such a treat in the food court! They offer a great weekday special, and I tried the Original Tori Paitan, Takoyaki, Chicken Gyoza, and Black Garlic Chicken Ramen. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The ramen broth was rich, creamy, comforting, and the appetizers were cooked perfectly. Even though it’s in the food court, the quality of food feels like a full restaurant experience. Definitely one of the best spots for a satisfying meal while shopping at Yorkdale.
The food is savory and delicious. We love the Spicy Chicken Karaage Don,Gyudon,Tori Buta Ramen and Takoyaki. Nelson is very helpful in giving recommendations.
