I tried Musoshin at their og location on Roncesvalles and it was amazing. So obviously I had to go try it on Harbord. Very quiet when I went around 2pm. Service was very kind and prompt. I had the ajitama musoshin ramen, and it was delicious. The broth is rich and the chashu is charred. The only thing I’d say is that the broth should be hotter.

Small space with limited amount of seats. My friend and I enjoyed our Ramen, which were comforting and good. Service was a bit on the slower side. They also have some desserts.

I ordered a "side" order of pork cutlet which was $5. At the end, I was charged $10 and staff gave me some weird excuse about how picture on the menu is inaccurate. Worst customer service ever. Also special musoshin ramen is totally not worth its price ($30). Portion is small and its not enough for two people. Do not recommend.

The ramen’s honestly so good, the noodles and broth are unreal. If you’re looking for a chill spot to grab some real ramen, no rush, no crowd, just good vibes, this place is it. I love that the servers just do their thing, not too much small talk, not hovering around. Makes me and my friends feel super chill and free.

feels more like a cramped university cafe than a proper restaurant. Only 15-20 seats, super casual with minimal service. The food was very mediocre; feels like another "central kitchen" assembly-line stuff.

I need to go back and revise my review of Musoshin in Gion, Kyoto. Because let’s be real, Musoshin Toronto is hands down better. And I’m not alone on this one. I’m still not totally vibing with their take on ramen broth. It kinda reminds me of Chinese da lu mian or Korean ul myeon. You know, that soup thickened by starch situation. The problem is, a thick broth needs some kind of acidic or spicy punch to cut through all that texture. Otherwise, it’s just… boggy. Now, let’s talk about their tsukemen. Not gonna lie, my tsukemen experience is limited, but the tsukemen here was a lot better than Tokyo Station Ramen Street. Wink wink, nudge nudge, you know which one I’m talking about—just look through my reviews or Google it. At any rate, when I first dipped the noodles in the broth, katsuobushi came out swinging like Gervonta. I LOVE katsuobushi, so I didn’t even dodge the punches. I let them land right on my taste buds. But after a while, it was a bit much. However, Musoshin already knew this would happen. So they laid a generous amount of thread chili to fend off the aquatic punches with spicy kicks of your own. It was nice to go tit for tat between the flavours of katsuobushi and spice! A true culinary combat in the bowl instead of an octagon. Musoshin’s exemplary taste probably comes from the fact that they make almost every ingredient themselves—even their miso is homemade. Have you ever tried to make miso? I didn’t think so. There’s a reason it’s a dying art. Respect. Oh, and I almost forgot the best part. The server at Musoshin. After the meal, we had this really pleasant conversation. It felt like I’d been transported to a parallel universe Kyoto where everyone spoke English. She was frank, friendly, and clearly passionate about the food. Honestly, she made the whole experience stand out even more.

I'm so happy for Musoshin for opening another location and especially in the beautiful and quaint neighbourhood of Harbord Village... Food is phenomenal as always. We ordered 2 Musoshin Ramen Reds and a Karaage. Noodles are so perfect, beef is well cooked and tender, and the okra is such a nice add on to the bowl! We made a trek out in the snow storm for this and it was worth it
