Great little shop! The selection was very nicely curated/organized and staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are excellent. I’ll definitely be back.

I ordered an LP online that said they have 7 of that item in stock. The next day, after taking my payment, they cancel my order by sending a generic cancelation email with 5 potential reasons as to why it could have been cancelled. So, I have to guess? Weird business practice. Anyway, I went back on their website and now it says out of stock. So, either they never update their stock online or miraculously sold 7 of the same item overnight. Not worth the hassle.

Wonderful vinyl collection at pretty reasonable price. Store was neat and clean and the records were properly organised. Staff was also helpful in searching for the required records.

Somewhat limited in their collection and everything is overvalued by $5/$10… Look around, stores are cranking up their prices because it’s more popular… but it’s not a reason to gouge us. Average record over $50 Blahahaha

Great selection of both new and old records, especially vintage disco, and they have a spot to listen to records before buying which was really cool! Staff was very kind, they let you browse in peace but are SO helpful when you need anything. I’ll definitely be back soon

I enjoy dropping by this store every now and then. I grew up when LPs and cassettes were the only way to play music and stores like this are a nice flashback. A&B Sound and Sam’s (in Vancouver) in the 80s were massive multi floor adventures that you’d lose yourself in for hours, and while this store is no A&B Sound, it has an impressively decent selection in stock that refreshes frequently. The prices seem reasonable and I’ve made several purchases that I’m happy with both for quality and price. SoundCloud and Apple Music remain my go to for music today but on those rainy days or warm summer nights, it’s nice to slip on a record and relax while the city does what cities do.

I love this place , mostly because it's close to my place , their collection is not the best one and mostly it's a bit gayish (dont get it wrong, i am a gay guy too but about music its not my type just Madonna or rupaul or etc...) but you still can find lots of great vinyls there ... specially the bearded guy who is working there is super nice and helpful... highly recommended

HI Staci. That is an interesting and concerning issue. I would very much like to look into this. Would you be able to forward to me the order number for the cancelled order, please. With that I can see exactly what went wrong. Stephen, Dead Dog Records
