Used to come her for years and years, though they don't answer their phone anymore apparently. I've tried calling for the last few months randomly for pickup, and no one answers the phone. Ever

Don’t order delivery they will make you wait 20 min then cancel for no reason / the also respond to the review and ask you to email them and they don’t respond to the email.

The food is exceptionally delicious, and I highly recommend trying it. We ordered two Veal sandwiches, and they were truly wonderful. The ladies provided excellent customer service, being incredibly kind and lovely. We were fortunate enough to visit this beautiful place on Friday afternoon, August 8th, and we certainly plan to return to sample more of their delicious menu and enjoy the outstanding customer service they provide. Thank you for creating such an unforgettable memory for us.

This place has always been a staple for my family as by father and uncles have been going since they were kids! I visited from Ottawa on Saturday and have to say how extremely disappointed we all were with the food for the first time EVER!!!! The veal was tough, meatballs were over cooked and different bun was used. The sauce was more like a tomato paste?!?! The hot peppers weren’t event cut up or made into the sauce like they used too! The food quality has gone extremely down hill! I visited last year and none of this was an issue…. Very sad for this experience and can honestly say if they don’t change it back to their traditional ways, they have lost some life long frequent customers from my very large family!!! I must say that the girl working the cash was very friendly and pleasant!!

If you're curious about what locals used to eat 50 years ago, this place is a must-visit. San Francesco Foods feels like a time machine in the heart of Little Italy — full of nostalgia and old-school charm. We had the veal sandwich and a slice of pepperoni pizza. Both were simple, classic, and gave us a real taste of Toronto’s food culture from decades past. It’s not about modern presentation — it’s about honest food with history. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore the roots of local eats and enjoy something truly authentic.

I gave this place two chances. The first time I got a combo and they didn't give me my fries, I unfortunately did not notice until I got home. The second time, I got a veal sandwich with provolone and they left our the provolone. Extremely disappointed to have my order messed up twice in a row after I paid for the extras. Different staff both times but clearly they don't care enough to bother giving you what you paid for. If you ever get anything here, make sure you check your order before you leave the shop.

It's been awhile since I've been back here, and now I know why. Got the eggplant parm sandwich. Good size, but the bread was a little old and the eggplant greasy. I like that all the toppings are included though and they don't nickle-and-dime. Service was very friendly and professional. The neighbourhood is still old school but the inside no longer has that charm I remember it to have.

Hi John, Thank you for the feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your Melanzana Sandwich. Are you sure it was only a 1 star sandwich?
