It was my first time getting a facial. I got the Zen facial which included a foot, scalp and neck massage. It was so relaxing! Staff were very friendly, explained what they were doing and gave recommendations on how to improve my skin routine. They use only natural ingredients which is perfect during my pregnancy. Great location. Will definitely be back!
I had the calming and hydrating facial with Paresha and it was wonderful, exactly what I hoped for and expected. I have rosacea and my skin felt great after, not at all irritated. It was very relaxing and I'm definitely booking another one in a few months.
I feel awful writing this review but it’s important for others know. This truly was by far one of the worst pedicures I’ve ever had in my life. The woman who serviced me was very kind but terribly unskilled and shouldn’t be working on customers. In addition to that, they list off all these additions that come with said “sports manicure” and charge more but in a nutshell it’s a basic pedicure without polish and I could have done a better job on my own and saved myself $65. Will not be returning.
Owner has attitude and my massage was much shorter then the time I paid for. The basement, in which the massage room is in, is also very dirty and it appeared the products they were using for me were opened/crusted along the tops. Would never go back.
I was very pleased with my manicure at Alma Natural Spa! I needed to get my nails done for work, and they were very accommodating despite me calling to say I’d be a few minutes late due to traffic. I found the service friendly, kind, and professional. The place itself was comfortable, and the tools seemed appropriately sterilized. It’s rare to find a spot in the city that uses clean ingredients and no harsh chemicals. I enjoyed my experience and, despite being a bit far from where I’m based, will definitely be back next time I need a manicure/ pedicure!
Bunch of fake five star reviews. This place has the worst customer service. I went twice and experienced it myself. Don’t waste your time here. The previous customer came late, so I got reduced 10 min. Then my service got finished early, so total I only got 50 min. While advertised is 70min. Front desk is totally untrained in customer service. Super super rude. I will never come back again. I gave them two tries, never again. Terrible. Negative 5 star.
Sorry but my experience did not meet my expectations at all. And I feel bad to tell them in person because I don’t want to hurt anyone feelings but I believe feedback is important but I will not be returning. The massage was not relaxing at all. There was constant motion non stop nothing slow or therapeutic about it and I understand they may not be RMTs but nor am I am I think I could of given a much more relaxing massage. I felt like my ribs and ankles and throat, all odd places were massaged. Also felt that some muscles that should have been massaged downward were done upwards and no knots were really focused on. Not once did I get a tingle or goosebumps that you typically do when you get a massage. So disappointing because I was really looking forward to this spa day and it didn’t meet my expectations at all. The facial was also done in the dark which I guess is fine but aren’t you support to pluck any hairs on the face that you see? well impossible if the room is dark. And the steamer was so hot in my I couldn’t even breath. The head massage started off so so but then was too strong for my liking. The thing that top it off was that my essential package was to Include a manicure and pedicure and as I’m about to dip my feet in the water they ask me if I have shellac on, and I did and due to that I couldn’t get my mani or pedi done because they don’t remove shellac. Why don’t they tell their clients ahead of time before booking? I didn’t get what I wanted out of the essential package today. I had the whole day booked off only to have to come back again. That completely took away from the package I paid for. Now I’m expected to go to my regular nail salon, get the shellac removed and then go back to get the mani & pedi I should have received today. all they had to do was tell me to ensure my nails are clean with no shellac before coming. but np that didnt dawn on them. im super disappointed. I am not even going to go back and get the mani or pedi. I should honestly get my money back so this huge inconvenience. Not recommend this place to anyone. Sorry.
