My masuist did a amazing job ironing out all the knots and kinks in my back, shoulder and neck! I hose a prenatal massage as i am 7mths pregnant, she was very qualified and knew all the areas that could be worked on during my 2nd trimester. I went in with lots of aches and pains and came out feeling lots of relief and not as sore and tight! Thank you Toumi, cant wait for my next session!

I had a truly wonderful experience at Hand & Stone Toronto Danforth. The setting is quiet, clean, and relaxing, with soft music and excellent customer service. Special thanks to my massage therapist Linda! She provided a full body massage focused exactly where I requested, using firm pressure to release the stubborn knots in my shoulders and neck. After just one visit, my shoulder stiffness and pain were almost gone, and after four sessions, I feel completely free of shoulder pain - results I couldn’t achieve even after three months of physiotherapy! Linda is a highly skillful and professional therapist who ensures her clients are comfortable throughout the treatment. I would gladly keep booking with her if I weren’t moving away, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone – especially to those who lift or hit the gym regularly.
Good location with options for parking. Front desk (reception staff) are very pleasant and accomodating. Treatment rooms can be a bit noisy, however they are clean. I had 2 good deep tissue massages with RMT Sean Montgomery.
I signed up for the introductory facial, but after assessing my skin the technician said the regular facial was too intense for my sensitive skin and that I should do some kind of upgrade (which of course cost extra). This felt deceptive since the standard facial is listed as being for all skin types. I went for the upgrade since it was made to seem like my skin would be very irritated by the regular facial. The facial itself was a really nice, I even fell asleep at one point. After leaving my eyes were itching quite a bit. It felt like there had been too much product put near my eyes, so I tried to dab a clean dry face cloth around my eyes. That didn’t help so I had to wash my face within a hour of being home. Not a horrible experience but I’m unlikely to return.
I have covid and they still charge me a 100% cancellation fee. I have had a membership for years and have never called last minute and understand why cancellation fees must be enforced when people cancel last minute however when I started feeling sick yesterday I thought I was fine and when I finally got a test to check I had Covid it came back positive and I called the salon right away. The fact they refused to care and understand just as a one time courtesy for my many years of loyalty to the salon is incredibly disappointing! Not good customer service at all!
Very professional and experienced - I got to see Costa - I appreciate that he pointed out to me the veins on the backs of my legs- and acted with caution. Will be getting that looked at with my doctor and will definitely be back to see him. Recommend this place for sure!
