I had a disappointing experience working with Francis Hagendorn on a large back cover-up. The final cost was much higher than originally quoted(more then double), the quality of the tattoo was poor, and I eventually had to hire another artist to fix the work. There were also ongoing issues with professionalism, including multiple short-notice cancellations day of. The shop and other artists were great, but based on my experience I can’t recommend Francis for large scale dark realism projects
I've been going to So Far So Good for 2 years now and have gotten 3 tattoos and I'm working on a back piece at the moment. Amanda is absolutely AMAZING. She's so talented, and on top of that she is sweet and kind and easy to talk to (which makes 5 hour session go by like a breeze!). The shop itself is warm and comforting and they've really worked hard to create a welcoming environment. They genuinely care about your well being and make sure to check in with you and offer drinks and snacks. I'm absolutely obsessed with So Far So Good and would recommend them with our a doubt. 10/10 would get tattooed again.
Drove up from Saratoga to get a piece on my shoulder from Amanda! It was absolutely worth the 16 hour (round trip) drive. The shop its self has great vibes . Amanda is so welcoming and does a wonderful job at making sure you are comfortable at every step. From putting on the stencil to bandaging at the end, she made sure to let me know what she was doing and where we were in the process. I really loved the consent heavy communicative approach and would 110% recommend this shop.
I got tattooed by Nic and had a fantastic time! They were really friendly and made me feel comfortable the entire time I was getting tattooed. The shop is very sanitary and looks absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend!
