Thai Grand Room - Etobicoke We tried Mango Salad (a bit on the sweet side), cashew chicken, lemongrass soup ans chicken skewera. This was our first visit - and definitely not our last. The cozy vibes and beautifully plated dishes make it feel like fine dinning, but with a very affordable pricing. Everytjing was perfectly prepared, pleasing our eyes before the stomach. Pricing is on point for the qualitu and experience. We'll absolutely be back to try more items on the menu.✨️
My wife and I came across this place via Google search while around the area. Happy that we ate here! Delicious food, friendly staff, and awesome atmosphere. Definitely will go here or their other many locations in the GTA. Yummy!
Great experience. Ordered taked out as it was late and close to closing. However loved the ambience of the place. Will definitely eat in next time. Padthai was delicious as well as the eggplant dish.
I heard this place was really good. I called in advance to confirm a few things about food restrictions I have. They said - no problem, just come in. We do gluten free. I have other food restrictions and know to choose simple dishes that are easy to remove and add. This was the first place in years that couldn't do that. Plus I said I was gluten free, they failed to tell me certain things were not gotten free, as if I was to read minds. When I got the eye roll, I should have taken that as a queue and left. My dish looked good. I lifted the noodles to find the ingredients I can't have and was missing protein. The server offered to take my plate and bring it back with suitable foods but knew better and just asked for the missing items. The glass noodles were not like any I've had before, not the greatest. We won't be returning.
Had such a bad experience at Thairoomgrand Etobicoke today. The waitress kept hovering around our table and even took our plates while we were still eating. She seemed in a rush to get us out because they wanted to close early. It felt really weird and uncomfortable.
Khao soi beef was pretty sad.. Thaï Barn Na and Chiang Mai (nearby) have the BEST khao soi ever !!! This place seems to value looks over quality and taste. Won’t be back soon unfortunately.
I ordered Malay curry and there was hair in the curry. The server Yumi instead of accepting the fact that there was a hygiene issue in the food she started shoving off the issue and told us that none of their staff had black hair. Extremely disappointed with the service. Never coming back or recommending anyone
