Aydan is the best barista! He’s incredibly attentive and genuinely friendly to customers. When coffee is the main thing that makes the day better, he will help!
So excited to try this place as I saw the reviews were pretty good. The staffs were nice, foods and coffee tasted good. I'm just a little disappointed with the Croissant sandwich. It's not flaky and just a bit crusty on the top. May be because the omelet was put in the croissant before the order was placed. May be keep them seperate until a customer place the order will be a better way to keep the croissant fresh and flaky. Also, i found the omelet didn't have much mushroom or turkey in it. Not sure if I will come back thou.
I ordered delivery. This restaurant replaced items with things that contained high allergens. Because of this I could not eat them. My daughter's creme brulee was also basically a melted mess. That might have something to do with the fact that it took an hour to have it delivered after it was picked up, but it's hard to say. She did say it was lacking in vanilla flavor as well. The chocolate almond croissant was okay. I would have to ask my neighbors how the things that came as replacements for what I actually ordered were. Of course doordash will do nothing about the situation because they think someone with allergies should pay for food they can't eat when their merchants mess up. Due to the fact that you can't rely on this bakery to send the right thing or doordash to correct their mistakes, I would suggest not ordering any food from here unless you were there in person, and wanted mediocre pastries.
The only thing I can complain about is the price but it is always a pleasure to visit them when going to Finch station. In fact, I think tomorrow I will buy my usual breakfast from them, I would love to have a branch in The Annex area
I stopped by this café while waiting for my mom's doctor appointment. We had a cheese croissant and a chocolate avalanche pastry. I loved the chocolate avalanche so much that I bought another one to go. Staff (filipina) was very polite, courteous and efficient. Ample seating outside for my mom to remain with her walker. Would definitely visit again the next time we're in the area.
The guy working here is super cool. Croissant was very good, but I’m salty that I got one right before the fresh batch came out. It smelled really good but I couldn’t justify getting a second one
Lisa is AMAZING! I was coming home from a night shift and it was 7am and they didn’t open until 7:30am. Lisa was very accommodating and offered to open earlier for me. Awesome customer service. Thanks again Lisa!!!
