Vanilla latte came in a massive glass and tasted like very sweet burnt milk with a slight essence of coffee. They use proper espresso machines but it tasted like what comes out of a car dealership coffee machine, with huge bubbles and extremely hot. I also originally asked for a london fog which they said they didn't do? But very clearly had all the ingredients for. Atmosphere is fine and I trust that the bakery portion is better, but don't go here for specialty coffee.
Paula, Isa, Cindy and Micaela were great this morning we were a large work group … so grateful for their warm smiles and friendly welcomes the food was warm and delicious the lattes warmed us all up … and they were so pleasant early in the morning! Great job ladies ! Must try the Biscoff custard tarts !!!
I've been buying bread there recently and there is no consistency in the size of the buns, some are so thin that they hard hard to slice to make a sandwich. I do not recommend the bread, poor quality control !
Things I go here for: coffee, bread, Portuguese sweet bread, chocolate donuts (the best around!), corn bread, fresh cheese, butter, cold drinks, and not for their new hot table which serves delicious food including octopus and cod specialty dishes. It’ll forever be remembered as Brazil Bakery though!
purchased almost 40 natas (a few Nutella flavoured but majority regular) and my team and I thoroughly enjoyed them. Thank you for wonderful service on such short notice with flavourful, fluffy, and custardy Potuguese tarts!
I’m going to preface this by saying I’m not from here, so maybe customer service is different in a big city? I also never really leave bad reviews Went here for breakfast, pastry, and coffee for the first time this morning. I ordered ahead of time through their website. When I got there, it was very busy and nobody even acknowledged me. I stood at the takeout counter for close to ten minutes. Finally somebody put my order slip on the counter and when I asked if this was mine they didn’t acknowledge me, but instead yelled to each other from across the counter. A lady came out and walked by me so I followed her, as I still needed my coffee. She didn’t say a word to me. The man working the coffee bar was nice enough and at least spoke to me. The food is alright, nothing to rave about. I probably won’t be back.
Extremely bad experience. Honestly speaking and from the bottom of my heart, I am really afraid of men with coloured nails so I asked his co-worker at a far end from the service counter if my food and drinks could be prepared and served by another server. I didn’t say anything to that server that I’m afraid of at all. When me and my father an almost 80 year old man we were having our coffee, that server with coloured nails came to our table and harassed us by yelling loudly to us if we didn’t want him to serve us, don’t come next time. Customers at another nearby table looked at us. We felt very bad and upset. Me and my father will never come again. I addressed this issue to the coffee attendant in the cafe area before we left and he said he would address this issue to the manager. This was a very unacceptable attitude and bad service from a server. I would never recommend anyone to go to any restaurant that supports such behaviour. The worst experience I’ve ever had.
