We had the butter croissant and the berry cheese danish. The latter was good. The croissant, you can see it's high quality, but it's still lacking somehow. It's not very buttery, or flaky... Maybe it's a choice, but I think it can be improved. The lattes and service were very good.
Had such great time at Bar Pompette the night before that I decided I would go out of my way to try the bakery. But sadly both the pastry and the coffee were kinda MEH.
This spot is amazing! Loved the croissants! Crunchy, chewy, buttery perfection. Coffee was great! Oat milk available as a non dairy sub. The savory tart with chorizo was sweet and salty and delicious. I will definitely be back!
This place came recommended for their baguettes - though I was not impressed. Way too hard to bite into. The croissants were very yummy - though a bit high on price side. A nice treat, however! Unfortunately, the two times we have been the staff have not been very warm/friendly. Maybe it’s just too early in the morning for them. ;)
Love this bakery, I live in the area, and sometimes come in for pastries for breakfast - always so fresh and delicious. And MJ is the kindest & nicest barista ever
used to be my favourite bakery. today i went in and there were wasps hanging around on the pastries and feeding off them. it was really an unbecoming scene. when i asked i was told people are so chill about it. she had fans to make the wasps go away but was not using them. i really wanted to buy something cause i love their pastries but i could not convince myself. even asked if she has something to bring from the back she said there’s nothing. how sad. :(
Came in because the Ube latte caught my eye, it was just okay maybe I need to ask for it a bit sweeter next time. Would love to try the strawberry latte next. Also grabbed the croissant and croissant pudding, very good! Loved it a lot (: the Guy at the front was very nice, the look of the store was very cute too.
