Damn. Do I had to ask several times for my tgtg order? It took her 20 minute to sign off on it and another 10 to giver you your order? I was the only one there and she would rather play on her iPad. It was good and the package states it had to be consumed within 48 hours
I’ve been a fan since they first opened in the food court by the escalators. But unfortunately my recent experience with them left a distasteful impact on my future loyalty. Tbh their bread is not always the freshest, but I continued to purchase. Today, was one of those days where the bread used in the egg salad sandwich was inedible. I managed to eat my way through it past times it was dry, but this time, I truly felt it was a waste of my money. When I spoke to the salesperson there, I felt bad for them because they weren’t given any autonomy or confidence to make their own business/ customer service decisions, even though they left her all by herself. I’m not going to waste too much of my time here but management is awful and wouldn’t let me exchange my $7 sandwich for anything in exchange for customer satisfaction. Do not purchase from the location. They say it’s fresh, but it’s day old product!
I had a great experience with delicious Japanese food. Also the gentleman at the counter, Shu Fujiwara described about all the cousins and helped me to find the branch near my house. Thanks Hattendo, Thanks Shu.
They had samples of the black sesame bun, which were good so I picked up the matcha one. The outside makes me think of brioche a bit. It’s a very thin layer that surrounds the cream. I enjoyed it. The person working there was polite and friendly.
Japanese Dessert Perfection! Yo, Hattendo at Yorkdale is straight-up a hidden gem! Those cream buns? Soft, fluffy, and filled with pure happiness. The custard one? Melt-in-your-mouth magic. Not too sweet, just perfectly balanced. And the best part? Consistent quality every time. If you haven’t hit this spot yet, you’re missing out on a Tokyo-level dessert experience. Would I go back? Absolutely.️?
this is probably the best sweet filled bun I have ever had. it was so pillowy, so soft, so amazing, the filling was so smooth and creamy, you can tell a lot of care went into each one. you will literally say oh my god out loud when you have it for the first time I guarantee it. the quality is 10/10, again service was perfect etc, the literal only downside is regularly their price is a little expensive but its worth it.
When I went home, I found I just bought six buns. But the seller received my 7 buns money. I can’t go back just for 4 dollars. So when you buy, please check them at counter.
