The pastries are OK, but after my last experience here I won’t be returning. I was standing at the register and looking at the drink menu on the wall while I waited for someone to come take my order. The old man with long blonde hair rolled his eyes like I was wasting HIS time and then called over a white patron behind me to take her order first. I was honestly stunned and I wish I had simply walked away instead of continuing to place my order. Unfortunately I was then subjected to this man scoffing at me I inquired about their coffee and pastry for $2 deal. I was made to feel stupid and wanted to cry while I waited for my order. I definitely felt unwelcome and I will not be returning on my lunch when he is present. Management, take notes and do better in who you hire.
I wish I could give zero stars ! The customer service is extremely poor!! Treat your customers equally ! The front 2 ladies , were laughing and making jokes , while I was reading the menu !! I was so uncomfortable there ! Even while she was giving the coffee she made me so uncomfortable and she didn’t have the audacity to say thank you or atleast pass a smile ! She was so rude !
Smoked salmon sandwich was delicious and very generous with the amount of salmon within. Spicy sauce adds a little kick. Croissant was still flaky and delicious despite being mid-afternoon.
Hazukido has quickly become one of my favourite pastry spots. Their croissants are on a whole different level — incredibly flaky, buttery, and perfectly layered, with that melt-in-your-mouth texture that’s hard to find anywhere else. I’ve tried a handful of their flavours so far, like the custard, hazelnut chocolate, and salted egg yolk, and each one has been consistently delicious. Every croissant feels freshly baked and filled generously without being overwhelming. I’m definitely looking forward to trying more of their menu — especially the truffle, strawberry custard, and golden cheese croissants, which everyone keeps recommending. The shop itself always smells heavenly, and the staff are friendly, quick, and helpful with suggestions. Prices are a little higher than a regular bakery, but the quality, freshness, and craftsmanship make it 100% worth it. If you’re someone who loves pastries, Hazukido is an absolute must-try. I’ve never left disappointed — only excited for my next visit!
I stopped by Hazukido at Union Station and tried the smoked chicken cheese croissant and a custard. The croissant was flavorful, though I wished it had been served a bit warmer. The custard, on the other hand, was absolutely delicious and perfectly satisfying. A lovely spot for a quick treat on the go!
A nice place to stop by if you’re craving a croissant. While it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me, the overall experience was still enjoyable. The ambience is warm and inviting, and the service was genuinely excellent. A pleasant spot to relax with a pastry and coffee.
Wonderful experience of baked goods in Union Station in downtown Toronto. Hazukido offers freshly baked goods inspired by a fusion of Japanese and European methods. The food is bright and colorful. And delicious. They also have teas and other beverages. The space is well lit and clean. It's a shining spot that you can't miss as you walk underground. The service is very professional and kind. 5 x
