I ordered my wedding cupcakes from Manzou and I ordered extra so we can take some home after. It was so popular that we ran out of cupcakes and my family didn’t even get to try one. Obviously I ordered more after the wedding and shared with my family.
Sabrina is very friendly and accommodating with orders. The cakes are light, delicious, and not overly sweet. I’ve tried both the cupcakes and the larger cakes, and they’re consistently excellent.
Tucked away in an industrial-looking area, you arrive at this wonderful bakery. Very friendly staff and extremely reasonable prices. Got a cake for my partner’s birthday (Earl Grey) and she loved it. Got a red velvet cake cup too and it was excellent. I will be coming here for all my cakes from now on!
Tried the 9 cake cups variety. Price was in range - it's a good option so you can have an idea of what flavor would you like. Loved the Earl Grey and Matcha! Would get the cake size next time for those flavors! No walk ins, make sure to order yours online. Pick up was easy.
I really don’t want to give Manzou an average review. I’ve been following them since they were on BlogTo and love their family business story and branding. We ordered a Mother’s Day cake because there was nothing else available. It was so beautiful but the cake was bland. No contrast in flavor. $50 including tax. I understand their marketing is “not that sweet” but we were literally eating clumps of cream. Didn’t really taste the sweet potato flavor at all. The Mother’s Day cake style would be great for senior citizens. Manzou could probably make a Keto cake with almond flour instead. I’ll try a few more flavors and hopefully my review will improve. I suspect the only cakes that will taste good are the ones with fruit.
Ordered the matcha mousse cake for my sisters birthday and it was a hit! So light, fluffy, fresh, and “not too sweet”. Very good matcha flavour throughout the cake and mousse cream etc. I’m not a huge matcha or cake fan but i had two slices! Thanks for the delicious cake :) wouldn’t hesitate to order again or recommend to others!
My family & I love Manzou Bakery! Found out about them back in March & have been ordering their cakes for every birthday in the family. Soft, light & not too sweet (which for my family is a GREAT thing) Thank you for making such delicious cakes & being apart of our family celebrations. Keep up the amazing work!! (going to keep adding pictures as we buy more cakes)
