The basic rules of tasty bread are the ingredients and techniques. Baking techniques cannot replace excellent ingredients. This bakery is using imported Japanese flour. This is already a confident vote of their tasty breads. And, yes they are soft and strong flavours. We will come back more for their breads.

Came here for the first time. The employee ignored us when we were ordering. She went straight to helping the next customer even when we got there first.

Unique and high quality, just like any Japanese bakery should be. Ask before buying. Some items are sweet and some are not (like Mashroom sandwiches). The sweet ones are mildly sweet, as if showing carefulness and control over use of too much sugars, and I like it allot. They also serve some excellent drinks including macha tea. Everything is unique and tasty. It's a very interesting place.

Was charged 2.4% for paying with debit card. First time seeing rate this high in Canada, wasn’t even a Mastercard debit or Visa debit, just a regular debit card. 2.4% Debit手续费有点亏贼了,你们10刀一个面包利润这么低吗(晕)? Food was good tho.

My wife loves buying from this place so I get a chance to try different bread. Most varieties are average and way over priced - especially the original toast (not sure what the actual product name is), tastes almost exactly like the one No Frills sells. The bread that has matcha is not too bad but not worth it neither. Try Whole Foods bakery, they have way better options and taste. Editing the review to deduct as they charge you credit card fee, on top of the already super overpriced lmao. And the last bread I just had from them.. tasted like.. cold baguette? Never going back.

Everything is fresh and full of flavor, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. I especially recommend the Lodeve. It has a perfect crust on the outside and is soft and airy on the inside.

++ it’s been twice that I’ve visited the store during business hours but it was closed. Please update the hours if it’s not consistent or closing early. Very unique bakery, most are very delicious. Some are just okay, or dry. Their bagel is very good. Their drinks were mediocre. The staffs are kind. It is tax free if you pay cash. Very expensive, but I still go haha
