Elysia is an awesome baker and took our birthday cake request at short notice + worked within our dietary requirements to make an amazing birthday cake. The cake was delicious:) thank you so much Elysia. And ofcourse the Ice cream, cookies and other treats at Moonmilk are a must try!
We are big moon milk stans. Constantly getting scoops!! And can I just tell you also - ordering a cake from Moon Milk was a true pleasure. It was incredible and a breeze to work with the team. Thank you Moon Milk!!
Initially left this business a 5 star... but after my visit yesterday, I took 3 away. I went into the store after work and ordered ice cream and a slice of cake.. and just didn't feel welcome. The cherry on top was when the lady at the front rang up my order, then rudely swung the payment screen towards me. And no, she didn't get a tip! Yesterday will be my last visit to this business. If you're selling goods that are supposed to make people smile, quit it with the attitude and making customers feel dismissed. I'll be returning to spend my money at Bakerbots.
Unique flavours and staff are nice. Went with my mom who can’t have dairy and she said the vegan fudgesickle ice cream was the best vegan ice cream she’s had. I had the strawberry matcha cookie and also really liked it.
Was a little sad to come all the way and not be able to get the kaya toast (will check the website next time), but tried a bunch of flavours (altho they give you such tiny tiny samples you can barely taste the flavour...) and settled on the mint fudge which was decent. The waffle cone was blah so skip that and get the cone Also tried the strawberry moon bun which was okay, I like the texture of the bun which was soft and delicious but will try a different flavour once kaya toast is back
YUMMY TIME!!! If you love ice cream like we do, then OMG, you must absolutely Moonmilk! Delicious and unique flavors like raspberry black sesame and guava cheesecake (our fave!). We also tried two rice crispy ice cream sandwiches (we loved the mint chocolate one) and a PB black cocoa ice cream cake to go. Everything was incredible and not too sweet, just perfectly balanced and flavored. Co-owners Elysia and Sally were super sweet, kind and welcoming, and allowed us to sample the ice cream and sorbets. We highly recommend and can’t wait to try their other offerings when we visit Toronto again!
The black cocoa cookies are delicious! Not a big fan of the tiramisu slice, it was too cake-y for me— not enough cream and coffee flavour, and it was also a little dry. The employee was nice and the place is cute. I’ll be back to try the ice cream!
