I never had a problem with this location until this past year. At first I thought it was just me but no. You walk in and they are very welcoming but then watch you the WHOLE ENTIRE TIME. Ask you several times if you need anything or if they can help you. I spend a lot of money on my hair. It’s curly and I know what’s good for my hair. I left earlier and chose quickly what I needed and left because I rather spend my money at a different location. They always make me feel uncomfortable when I’m just shopping. They watch you like you’re stealing which is very insulting. This is the last time I come here and give them my business. The previous manager or owner of this store was never like this. It’s an older woman with glasses and her sidekick that watch you. Absolutely horrible service. Do not go to this location.
I bought just 30 mins this product, and I found the level a little bit low and the usual level is a liquid product. I arrived home and compared it with the empty bottle I still have, and it confirmed, that the product was 10ml less than they were supposed sell.
Purchased two ion color brilliance permanent hair colours and one product came out GREEN at the end of the tube! After scooping out the weird colour and using the unaffected product on my roots, NOTHING TOOK. the colour I used on the rest of my hair took fine. Both the same brand and type of colour. I come in to the store showing them my BRIGHT ORANGE roots, CLEARLY proving that the product on the roots that came out green was expired or old product they were selling. AND DID NOT WORK. I would now have to purchase two more tubes and would not be able to blend the colours as planned NEARLY as easily. I AM SO UPSET THEY RUINED MY HAIR The manager told me nothing could be done as she “did not know if I used the product correctly or not” - I CLEARLY DID as the second colour took as planned and as advertised. ZERO solution offered and now I have to spend MORE MONEY to correct their faulty product. Upon asking where the manufacturing date was on the box, I was told “if you don’t see it it’s not there” WOW. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Not sure if this is new management but I will not be returning to this location. EVER.
I have bleached and dyed my hair many times but a while ago I dyed it brown but part of it still looked bleached so I wanted to dye it brown. I went to this store and one of the employes Color matched my hair to a hair dye and when I went home and used it it was black.
I’ve never had a poor experience at Sally’s til recently. I don’t know if it’s some weird sales tactic they are doing or if the one employee I encountered was just trying to make a sale or what but the whole experience was weird and put me off. Normally the employees are kind and helpful but not over the top in your space. I barely was able to get my basket before an employee came around asking if I needed help I assured them in a respectful tone I’m just looking if I need help I will ask. She proceeded to continue to follow me around the store standing feet behind me the entire time. At one point while looking at items she was standing right beside me just staring and smiling at me, I looked at her obviously confused as to why she’s following me around, she then proceeds to comment on the item I’m looking at and mentions something about a sale. I said thank you and continued looking but she again was just lurking around me the whole time. Only after another employee started talking to her did she leave me alone. I paid for my stuff and left, what a odd situation to be followed around the whole time for no reason.
