I’m surprised by all the good reviews. I met one of the rudest, most condescending person in my life. And I don’t mean rude by customer service standard. I mean literally the most disgusting person in my entire life. Constantly rolling his eyes, when I gave up on asking him and read the labels myself, he was giggling and pointing at me behind my back. His altitude was almost horrendous, I don’t believe anyone should ever be treated the way I experienced today.
I came in to get some hair dye and David was incredibly helpful. I had never dyed or bleached my hair before (and wanted to get to pink from dark brown) and I was supported in understanding all I needed for the job, with a high level of care. They even had a binder full of hair colors that they pulled up when I first inquired about options. It was awesome, I was in and out and all the advice worked out when I used the products to fully bleach and dye my hair shortly after. I ended up going after I was informed of them when getting my haircut as a recomendation (felt like an inside tip I had to follow)! So glad I went here instead of a drugstore; their prices rock, I spent $4 on hair dye which worked great. This will be my go to from now on :)

I visited the store looking for a curly hair shampoo and ended up getting one from Mixed Chicks. I’m really happy with the product—it worked perfectly for my hair. Came here specifically to support a small business. The information they gave was all wrong and they weren’t helpful at all. Watch a YouTube video to get actual useful and reliable information- since the people who work here have no idea and just confidently say the opposite ingredients, say ingredients aren’t in products - when they are.
+ Carries many essentials at supplier rates + Centrally located and easily accessible and Yonge and Bay - The staff are not necessarily knowledgeable about which products to use, so go in there having already done your research and knowing which products you need
Manager spent 10-15 minutes explaining how to use something that cost $10. Can't find that sort of customer service these days. Will definitely return for all things grooming.
