Have now ordered lamb three times from Ella. The price/value is good, but the quality and cut they give you is sub-par. Each time we have been given a bag with about 1/3 of the weight in fat. I wish the butcher would try to trim a bit before charging a customer?

I love shopping at Ella's and buy all my meat there. Lately I have not been able to get out due to surgery recovery and I found out that Ella's delivers! I now have beef stew simmering in the slow cooker - thank you Ella's!

Saw this truck unloading out front this morning, does not look sanitary to me. Barely a plastic sheet down and a guy with running shoes on from the street then into the back of the truck.

Big fan of the souvlaki at this store! Love their new online store at as well. I ordered the other day and had the items delivered to my house in queen west. saved me a ton of time!

One of the best butcher shops I have come across. Family operated for many years. Amazing service and top quality meats and cheese. Been a staple throughout the pandemic as we avoid long lines at the grocery store. Call in an order and pick it up the next day. Happy to have this business in my neighborhood.

Tried their pork and chicken souvlaki during the taste of Danforth and it was really good! I’d want to go into their store next time to try their other meats!

What a butcher shop should be. Old school charm. Exceptional service and always great products! George and his staff are always courteous and do the very best to get what you need and if they don't have, they'll do their best to find it for you in short notice. There are a number of top quality butchers in the Danforth area, but inevitably I always come back to Ellas. The service, value and quality is consistently outstanding. Keep up the great work!
