I recently bought some meat from this place, and unfortunately, the quality wasn’t great. It was mostly water and didn’t cook the way I expected not what I was hoping for. However, I will say that the lady who helped me was very kind and provided good customer service. I appreciate her attitude, but the product itself needs improvement.
The store is looks great but idk the owner or worker is unprofessional he doesn’t care about the customers and he doesn’t even say hi to me just talking on phone that crazy bad service
Worst customer service. It says they open at 9am on their website and I was there at 9:15am I saw the guy going in inside but he locked the door behind him and didn’t even bother to look my way! I tried calling and knocking but he decided to ignore me!! All I wanted was to grab a few things. Very unprofessional!
I found this store today on google since I was in the area. Excellent selection of Ethiopian grocery. I love to cook Doro Wat and they have everything I need. I will definitely try buying green coffee beans here to roast my own. I usually visit the Ethiopian grocers on the Danforth but Habesha is excellent too and the gentleman that helped me today was very pleasant. The store is roomy, clean and bright and very easy to find items. I will definitely shop here again.
The most expensive store. They don’t even label the prices. I bought 6 items. 6!!!! Thinking I was going to pay maybe less or around $50. Why was my total $100?! BTW He didn’t scan anything. Just put the prices off the top of his head!!!!!!!! I think because he knows I’m not cultured and speak our language he made items more expensive for me. Also can anyone else confirm if their meat is halal? It doesn’t say anywhere in their store the meat is halal yet when I asked him he said yes. So if it’s not- He is definitely a dishonest person doing DISHONEST BUSINESS
