Used to have nice onigiris but they just be selling day-old (at the very least! Probably two-day old or worse…) ones now. Insanely stale rice with not a lot of filling.
Will this be the best bento you've eaten? No, but it does the job if you're looking for a quick fix. It's well-portioned and not too expensive (come after 5pm and get a discount!). Taste-wise, the gyozas tasted like they came from grocery store frozen packs but the katsu and other items in the set were pretty alright. It has a good variety of items. I enjoyed the onigiris, which are made fresh daily, way better. There's lots of flavours and they're rather big. They felt more filling than the bento, weirdly enough. I didn't get a chance to buy any grocery items in the store, but they seem to have a good variety despite the small size of the store. If you're looking for a smaller (and more expensive) konbini like you'd find in Japan, this is probably the closest.
The cold brew made in-house is incredible!!! The yuzu cold brew and mint cold brew were delicious and unique. Definitely one of my new favourite spots to get a fun drink
My go-to spot for Japanese snacks! They have an amazing matcha selection. Definitely a must for fellow MATCHA lovers. Just look at these!!! The staff are always friendly and accommodating, which makes the experience even better. Must-tries: • Spicy crab onigiri • Their bento boxes (so good!!)
This is a nice small shop that sells mostly snacks and pantry items from Japan. I really like their daifuku but unfortunately it is often sold out when I stop by.
The concept is just like the convenience stores in Japan. Fresh food. Ready to go plus there's place to eat at the back. Comfy sofas and tables. And clean!
A tiny store but is somehow still stocked with candies you can’t find at other Asian stores in the city. The grab and go foods are also SO GOOD, actually restaurant quality! Also prices are reasonable for a specialty store, would probably pick this over my usual H-mart if I need to grab a quick lunch to go or when the craving for Asian snacks hit.
