I had a great experience at this clinic. Dr. Tuvel is an excellent dentist, and the entire staff is polite, friendly, and welcoming. All my concerns were addressed properly and I am highly satisfied with the cleaning as well as the fillings done here.The hygienist is also highly knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking quality dental care.
I recently moved downtown and had to find a local dentist's office. Fortunately, Dentistry on Bay is within walking distance of my condo so I made my first appointment after about 3 years of not seeing my former Dentist. Overall, I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Tuvel's office. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Dr. Tuvel himself was professional, extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I left feeling confident in the care I received (a check-up and x-rays). Highly recommended!
I have not had a good experience with Dr. Tuvel. He was very inconsiderate with me. If you have TMJ problems and can’t keep your mouth wide open for long, I would stay away. He kept my mouth open by asking his assistant to hold my lower jaw down. That gave me few days of jaw pain and headache. No matter how challenging the procedure is, I believe the patient comfort should be top priority. If you can’t do your work with a particular patient, be professional and refer them to someone who can! The second star is for his assistants and dental hygienist, who were friendly and professional.
The doctor here really paid attention to details and gave me extra adjustments included on top of the arranged appointments. Results were excellent, and I'm sure they will last at least 25 years. 10/10 quality
Must NOT go. He is very impatient and very unprofessional. While doing dental procedure he was engaged with his staff solving clinic issues. He could not focus what he was doing. That resulted in hurting my tongue and lip for just two simple dental fillings. Not a skilled dentist. He was rude, forcefull while doing procedure and did not provide any instructions. He is very bad dentist. I think I should file complaint against him.
The doctor is an older man who’s bedside manners were terrible. I pointed out a small mistake in my file and the doctor was very rude to the receptionist within ear shot of where I was sitting. It automatically made me uncomfortable that he treated his own employees that way. He later asked if I had any serious illnesses and when I told him about my disability he said “That’s not that serious.” Won’t be going back.
Dentistry on Bay has the most comforting staff and Dr. Tuvel's experience is evident. I did my wisdom teeth removal there, and he explained everything very clearly and I felt at ease during the procedure and the healing process had no complications. They are also very punctual with appointments, whether it was a morning or afternoon appointment, they were on time.
