I stumbled into the store to pass time. The owner was very friendly and conversational. Great variety of quality items. I ended up purchasing two quality seafood cracker sets.
I loved this store but I've walked there twice this week during operating hours to buy some expensive knives and both times they've been closed. I'm going somewhere more reliable.
Great shop with lots of the essentials. Prices can be slightly hire than others but not by much, I'd much rather support the small business for the couple extra dollars. The owner is also very nice!! Definatly buy your next knife here.
Great customer service, found what I was looking for, called me back to let me know he had the product. Found little Bodum plastic spoons I've been looking for, they come with full packaged French presses, he had 20 lose ones in the Bodum section. :)
Great little shop, lots of variety of knives and kitchen gizmos. Reasonable pricing, especially if you are impatient or needing something faster than Amazon prime like I was. Owner (I presume) was knowledgeable and very nice. Chefs beware, you can blow a chunk in here, but I guess that is true of any knife shop.
My favorite store, big selection. Most of my kitchen tools are from this store.

Love this place. Owner is friendly and knowledgeable. They have unique items you might not find at other kitchen stores -- but more than anything the price/quality ratio is what I go for. Put simply, good quality kitchen tools at good prices. I cannot understand why people go to W-S and buy $900 knives sets that look pretty on the counter. If you love cooking and need the right tools to get the job done, IKS is for you.
They have a great selection in store. Wonderful knowledge of the knives.. best of all he was very friendly it was a pleasure to do business with this shop. I believe it was the owner that served us. We will be going back for all our high end knives.
