I loved shopping in here. Over priced but lots of good finds. The last 2-3 times I’ve been here they are following me aisle to aisle which has made me uncomfortable enough that I won’t be returning and I’d advise you to spend your money elsewhere.
Been shopping here for years but won’t be back after today. Came in for shower curtain hooks and the employee acted like I was going to steal something. I was looking at the hooks when she came over and just stood beside me, pretending to look at something else. At first I thought she was coming over to ask if I needed any help but she just came and hovered, watching. Really upsetting to be treated like this more & more frequently these days as a young person. I understand that theft is on the rise but you shouldn’t be making assumptions based on nothing but someone’s appearance.
They have affordable serveware and kitchen tools. This location has free parking right in front of the door. I was able to quickly go in and the grab items I need.
Called about an item, was told that they had multiple models in stock. In fact, they had one final sale item on discount by one cent. Not sure the discount is worth an item that’s final sale. I was told by the manager that she checked the computer when I called, and the computer told her there were multiple models available, but “human error” occurred in the span of our phone conversation. Worth noting that I was the only customer in the store the entire time, with two employees, who could not have been bothered to actually check their inventory.
you can order online. You can receive it as pick up. prices are affordable. there are many types. Store harry works regularly and systematically. the employees are very polite. I ordered online, you cannot pay online. When I went to the shop, I both paid and bought my product. They work according to covid rules. they are very careful.
This location is a bit smaller and has less selection than the much larger one slightly further east on King St. W. but it's clean and organized, and super convenient with available 20-minute free parking, and the staff are always nice and helpful. You can also order online and pick up for free at the store. Chock full of handy little kitchen gadgets in all price ranges.
Bad custumer service. I bought an iron pot here. After using it once the pot become burned and had a very bad smell. I went to the store and asked them for a store credit or exchange. But they start telling and blaming me thet its my fault and I dont know how to use this pot. Ive been working as a sous-chef for a couple years so believe me I know how to use it. I left thet pot in the store for "inspection". It was a couple monthes ago. Problem is still not resolved. After inspection they said it still my fault. Unbelievable!!I think they dont care about customers. I am 100% not recomending anybody this store because of there poor customer service.
