Sam at Prints Charming helped us out of a jam - my husband and I purchased a large framed piece of artwork abroad that was badly damaged after it was shipped to us. Sam came to look at the damage, took the artwork back to his studio, and was able to fix it back to near-perfection! This piece of art holds significant sentimental value for us, and we appreciated how much thought and care Sam put into the restoration of the frame. Some months ago, I spied a framed print in Prints Charming's shop window on Roncesvalles Avenue in Toronto. Fast forward over a year to me wanting to purchase the print as a surprise gift for someone living in TO. But because I live on the other side of the country, stopping by the shop wasn't possible. Enter Sam from Prints Charming! He worked with me diligently to make my surprise gift happen. Including sending me photos of the print to confirm it was the one I was looking for; giving me options for size, frame, glass; agreeing to package the print with no identifying logos on the outer wrapping so as not to spoil the surprise for the recipients. Sam even sent me a photo of what the outer package would look like! Then Sam delivered it safely to it's new home, with the surprise intact. My little story demonstrates that the service of this shop is outstanding and Sam will work with you to handle purchases both in and outside of TO.
