I have been coming to this location since it opened. My go to girl is Glaze - she’s fantastic! We don’t even live in the city anymore but I bought a membership (amazing value) and come into the city to visit and have a service done every month. I’ve done laser, waxing, facials, tinting and of course manis & pedis - I’ve never had a bad service. The only thing that I dislike is the lotion that they use now. It’s made for 10 spot so I am unsure why they have these gross scents that smell like laundry and old grandma - they don’t even have an unscented option - which is weird since so many people are sensitive. The actual lotion has a great texture and I would start buying it again if they had an unscented option or if they brought back the spiced pear in the fall & winter - that scent was wonderful- I wish I bought a case before they got rid of it. If you’re looking for quality services go to the 10 spot - if your scent sensitive byol.

I really like this location, it's bright and clean and I've had great service here. I used to go for manicures (just polish), and although they are so lovely and luxurious, I couldn't justify going anymore because they always sent me out the door with wet nails (claimed the top coat was insta dry) and they always smudged, so it was money wasted. I recently went in for a facial, and it was AMAZING. She really knew her stuff and it felt incredible. The message portion was just phenomenal. The downsides were the room was blindingly bright and blasting surf rock, which made it really hard to relax and get into it. Also, it's been two days and my skin feels rough and dry in texture (I've never had dry skin in my life, I'm usually oily), and I haven't been able to balance my skin back, even with lots of moisturizing. Because of this I probably won't be back.
For my first experience at The Ten Spot, I booked a Mani Pedi only to be told (after I arrived) that the technicians did not know how to do a French manicure and that needs to have been booked in advance. On what planet does a nail technician not know how to do French and if we needed to book this in advance, the person taking the booking should tell you that. Then we got our nails done which appeared to be well done and not a day later the shellac began chipping and peeling off. All for a nice price of $125. Never again!
