Ordered the chicken pad Thai bogo which was decent with chunks of chicken and tofu. It was not spicy at all and slightly sweet. Portion size was good. Their veg green curry was full of a variety of veggies and slices of tofu. It was tasty and paired really well with brown rice ($4!). Even though I selected mild, it was slightly spicy. But overall tasty if you order these two specific dishes.
Ordered uber it took so long to wait for the food this is the 2nd time this happens first time I didn’t rate them. The uber driver was getting frustrated he asked how much longer and the uber must of been there for more then 30minutes he also said was t busy at all so I ended up cancelling….Maybe you shouldn’t be on uber if this is what occurs seems like I am not the only one complaining about this on here.
I’m an Uber Eats delivery driver, and I had a frustrating and upsetting experience at Phuket Garden. I arrived to pick up an order for a customer, and I urgently needed to use the washroom. Two staff members – one Indian girl and one Asian girl – told me I couldn’t use it because I wasn’t a customer. I explained that I was there to pick up an order for a customer, which technically makes me a customer, but they still refused. I had no choice but to buy a Coke just so I could use the washroom. To make matters worse, they gave me a “dislike” on my Uber delivery profile, which felt incredibly unfair since I was just doing my job. According to Ontario law, anyone can use the bathroom, especially in situations like this. This felt like a pure case of racial profiling, as I am Indian. It’s deeply disappointing to be treated this way just because of my background, even when I’m providing a service to their customers.
Ordered the pad see ew chicken, it was truly the worst pad see ew I’ve ever had. The noodles were so overcooked they were basically one gooey sticky clump. The texture so unpleasant in your mouth. The taste awful too. Now I feel like a bowling ball is in my stomach. I had nothing else to eat so I had half and had to throw the rest in the garbage.
I don't know why I have to give one star for this aweful place. They cancel orders if they don't want to take the orders. Don't be pooled by the high stars on uber.
Ordered food from them - it never came due to them "not getting the order." When we called they said they wouldn't have been able to deliver anyways because they don't have any drivers. Tried for almost a week calling every day to get a refund and they eventually stopped taking our calls.
The place has potential. The food is good and the interior decorating is nice, but the service is extremely slow. Took 45 minutes to get our food, and when we did, we weren't all served at the same time, rather in 5 or 10 minutes of each other. When we walked in, there were five people standing at the counter, either picking up an order for Uber Eats or Skip The Dishes, some of which waited for nearly an hour to get their order.
