Wow what a great store, can’t believe I’ve waited this long to go in, although highly recommended by friends and family. They have toys for all age ranges, a nice clearance section, and everything you can think of. Found gifts for 4 kiddos. Really good setup and amazing loyalty program - sign-up!
The Jellycat selection is usually stocked well. I like the personal touch of picking the wrapping paper when purchasing a gift. Makes it so easy! Thank you!
I went to this location today to get gifts for my niece and nephew. I spent a good amount of time looking at everything to find the perfect gifts. I had brought a reusable bag and was using it at first since i didn’t see any baskets and had too much to hold in my hands. A younger guy brought a wheeling basket to me and asked me to use it instead which i immediately did and apologized. After i cashed out with the younger girl that was also working, i put my purchases in my bag and left. The young guy ran out of the store a few minutes later and accused me of stealing. I was literally holding my receipt. Next time i need to go toy shopping i will not be coming back to this location.
My son and I visit this store all the time as we live in the beach area. We used to have lots of fun browsing the colourful toys and playing with the lovely interactive areas to try out the toys. This store used to be very inviting with all the lovely mastermind colours and friendly staff. Recently, all of the toys are becoming all white and beige with no colour as well as the walls of the store. I’m not sure why they are trying to stay open while they paint as the store is a mess. The staff are still great which is why I gave them any stars, but I think they need to rethink their plans moving forward or the customers will just use Amazon. As a brick and mortar store it has to be a fun inviting interactive place where kids will want to go and play. Not a boring beige store with beige toys. I don’t think this store will last much longer the way they are moving forward.
Unfortunately, had a really difficult time returning a gift with a gift receipt. Was provided a poor explanation for not being able to return said item. This is not the first time this specific location has had issues with returns or gift card related issues. The actual purchasing experience was positive and always a bonus to have gifts wrapped for the holidays.
Went today to browse and found a cute learning toy, the price sticker on the toy was 26.99 Once we got to cash it came up to 90$ The cashier advised it was priced wrong and said she would honour the price and after playing around on her screen she says actually it’s not allowing me to do it. they are supposed to honour the displayed price on the shelf, not my fault the employee put it wrong. They definitely did not want to sell to me which is why they said it wouldn’t work Never going in here again, no customer service. Don’t say you will honour it like you’re supposed to and then change your mind.
I went into the store to browse for Christmas shopping. The store is well stocked and easy to navigate. I would have purchased a few things, however the staff was less than helpful. The two team members that were there were busy unpacking merchandise. When asked a question they appeared annoyed that they were interupted. Sadly this is not the first time I have had poor customer service at this location.
