Bread was good but beef banh mi is very cheaply made. Usually it’s steak strips but they made little ground beef puck shaped meatballs in sauce instead. Very inauthentic.
Vietnamese music on point!!!! Food is delicious, reminds me of my highschool years where I always bought bahn mi from a near by local store! Worth a try.
This is really not bahn mi. The bread is doughy and the chicken itself is bland but masked with sauces. The whole thing tastes like subway’s teriyaki chicken sandwich. If you want a hot sub then you might be happy with it. But if you expect Vietnamese bahn mi this is certainly not.
I came for a small affordable lunch, and I got a roasted pork banh mi for great value! Good amounts of meat and veggies with crunchy bread, but not too crunchy that you make a mess everywhere Very filling and tasty meal for under $10!
Super disappointing bahn mi, ordered the classic, spicy and it lacked any flavour or spice.. not even remotely spicy! The bun was so crusty it cut my mouth, the "pickled" veg lacked any picking, the pork was just hunks of meat which were 90% fat and no cilantro. Very unfortunate, was excited to have a new spot in the neighborhood, but wont be back.
Happened to be in the neighbourhood yesterday at lunch time and ordered the Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi. Quality & taste was 5 star. The baguette was just as it should be - really fresh, crusty on the outside and airy on the inside. Service was also very friendly and great menu selection of Banh Mi sandwiches, interesting salads and drinks. Will definitely be returning to Lamhan Banh Mi.
A Banh Mi place was exactly what we needed in the neighbourhood! Fantastic sandwiches at a fair price and lots of great drinks as well. I hope this place is here to stay, please pay them a visit!
