I ordered a chatime triple, 80% sugar, less ice please. My order came out hot, which I didn’t even know was an option. The staff said, “H means hot.” But that “H” only appeared on their label, not on my receipt or the app order I placed. How was I supposed to know that? I asked if I could at least get some ice. Instead of just giving me a cup of ice, they opened the sealed drink and started pouring it between multiple cups, at one point, there were three different cups involved. They filled one entirely with ice, which meant there wasn’t enough space for the toppings. When I got it back, the drink was lukewarm, watered down, and missing most of the bubbles and jelly — just a few bits left floating around. When I asked if that was really the fix, they looked at me like I was the problem. All this because I didn’t understand an unlabeled “H” buried on their end of the system. A little clarity and basic empathy could’ve gone a long way.
Got two drinks for the back-to-school promo and they were awful. Tasted fake. Worst drinks ever. If there was a zero rating, I would give it for sure. Never going back
I visited ChatTime on September 4th and ordered a brown sugar milk tea with 50% sugar because I’m allergic, but they gave me 100% sugar. I couldn’t return it since it was closing and had to throw away $8. The staff spoke with the owner/manager, but they were very rude and clearly don’t care about their business or customers. I’ll never go back and don’t recommend this place, especially for anyone with allergies
First time at Chatime! I’ve seen them all over but never actually gone in. I got a matcha milk (?) iced. It was a little overwhelming as I wanted dairy free or at least lactose free milk and that isn’t possible with all the drinks. What I really wanted was a coconut milk iced match latte, but I don’t think they do that. I loved being able to customize the sweetness and ice! The drink was good. The customer service was great! The atmosphere was lacking. I didn’t really want to sit and enjoy, so i left and walked while sipping. It felt a bit cramped and oddly laid out. I can imagine it would be annoying when busy.
Stopped by today to pick up two drinks. Unfortunately the trainee couldn't tell between popping boba from crystal boba... Our drinks ended up with this weird lychee fruit flavour mixed in.
I’ve been a loyal customer for years. But the plastic cups are just too flimsy! Today I bought two large bubble teas and had both cups split down the side while walking them home. I went back to the Dundas east location and they only offered to pour what was left of the one tea into a new cup. I am very disappointed to say the least. Before my experience today I bought 6+ bubble teas a week. I will have to find a new bubble tea place with better cups!
This Chat time is one of the best in the city. The employees were extremely professional and made my drinks very quickly. The music is great and the overall ambience of the store had a very calming vibe. I would recommend anyone to come here and get drinks!
