I come here often, one of the best bubble tea in Toronto and good price. It’s very spacious and the staff is always nice and welcoming. Good place to work too.
Oh god i am in love with the Tramisu, pistachio and walnut mango, mouthwatering, tempting, unstoppable sweet, must try expensive but worth every dollar. Staff is friendly and quick, they have tea aswell but I only for this sweet.
I’m very dissatisfied with the service I received today from the female employee working at 5:30pm. I ordered a drink earlier with the previous employee and she was very nice. I went back to ask for a cup of water and the new employee gave me a rude and disgusted face. All I did was ask for a cup of water, if you don’t want to serve me or you need to charge me for the cup then you can use your words and say that, not just rudely stare at me. This made me so uncomfortable. Luckily, the other male employee agreed to get me a cup of water, while the female employee continued to stare at me with her mouth open in a rude manner. This is unacceptable. I have been to many bubble tea shops across Toronto and never have I received this rude treatment. I would give this review a 0 star if I could. I will never be coming back to this location.
They have a Photoism photo booth, so this is my favourite location to visit. It used to be Life4Cut, but I'm glad they swapped over to Photoism as the quality is a lot better. It can get pretty loud as a result of people laughing in the photobooth, but it's honest fun! The drinks are always made well and the staff are efficient. There's an upstairs area where cupsleeve events are usually held. It can get pretty hot up there, so while I wish the ventilation were a little better, I'm thankful we can have a space to do these events in Toronto.
It can't be easy running a bubble tea store along Yonge Street. You're selling a largely fungible product at a low price point, so it's challenging to differentiate yourself from your competitors. As a consumer, unless you happen to take an interest in bubble tea, the choices are overwhelming and it's challenging to figure out which places are superior. The milk tea (pictured) at Kung Fu Tea near Yonge and Wellesley tastes great. It's a delightful blend of milk and tea in the exact right proportions not to be cloyingly sweet (especially if you ask for no honey, as I did) while also still conveying the bold notes of flavour from the black tea. However, I honestly couldn't tell you if the milk tea at Kung Fu is better than similar products at stores nearby. However, Kung Fu has adopted a strategy that is more common for corner stores and general stores: they have branched out into several revenue streams. Specifically, they also have a photo booth, complete with props, and they are the main vendor (maybe the only vendor) of Nonna Lia tiramisu in the downtown area. I have never tried the tiramisu but their advertising is ubiquitous on social media and I watched a couple buy a tub while I was waiting for my tea, so that's something to perhaps elevate Kung Fu above its competitors. One last thing: there's a fairly large upstairs area that is well-frequented, it's probably more comfortable to enjoy your drink there, rather than being seated near the constant foot traffic.
A great bubble tea place. I've been here a couple times and also got Too Good To Go from here (got 3 of the same drinks). Nothing on their menu disappoints.
My friend and I went in pretty late. While we were sitting and talking, a customer accidentally dropped her freshly out tea on the ground. As staff member aware, they made her new tea and cleaned the mess with a smile so she didn't feel uncomfortable. An impressive service that they have!
