My first time here and was very impressed with how the person at the counter helped me make a choice and was extremely kind and courteous. About the drink: I had the Mango colada and added grass jelly to it….came out wonderful! A must try for sure!
They charge 4% if you pay by credit card. It’s absurd that they won’t even tell you until you pay. Writing details: I am not a regular customer but every time I make a purchase I will be asked how I want to pay and I tap on the card to pay. I was never told that there is a 4% fee when you choose to pay with credit card. I only got to know today when I saw two different charges for debit and credit on the keypad. May be they chose the credit option for me in the past when I said I will pay by credit card. Again it can be a few cents when the purchase is for a small item but it will make a difference in price when you buy an expensive item. I was upset to learn that I have been paying 4% just for using credit card. If I was told earlier then I would have brought debit card each time to pay. I dislike how the owner has put down a customer for not being able to afford a few cents which doesn’t add up bcos none of the items at the store is priced in cents. People pay more than cents for food. So next time pls be mindful of how you speak.
I ordered a mango slushy from here, but it was filled with mango fibers. When I asked for a replacement at the counter, the staff said that's how it comes and they couldn't offer a replacement or refund. I've tried mango slushes at many places, but this was by far the worst.
The cashier had a weirdly disrespectful and unfriendly attitude when my partner and I stopped by for drinks yesterday evening. I asked to replace the sugar in my large mango pineapple with honey. I got the same drink that morning at Eaton Centre as well and there was no problem. I don't think she did what I requested. It's much more sweeter, less thicker and the consistency is different from what I usually get. Definitely not worth my $11. Nonetheless, the place is small and cute.
Really nice place. They gave me a dollar discount since I also got momos (dumplings). The bubble tea looks and tastes good. Will definitely be coming back here. Just be warned that the vegetable momos are EXTREMELY spicy, and this is coming from someone who enjoys spicy food
Slow and with mediocre quality and high bubble tea prices. They use sirup for the taste. Don't get the 50% off slush... Crapes were OK. I hope the owner can turn things around because he was nice and seemed hard working. They got the marketing right but need to work on food QA and turn-around time.
