I have never written reviews before but my experience the other day compelled me to write this. I had the absolute pleasure of being helped by Anika, (or Anica)! I normally hate shopping but her attention to detail, compassionate voice and just overall friendliness made me feel so welcomed! I have never shopped at this particular location but will absolutely be coming back in (and hopefully Anika will be around). I usually do my shopping online, and so having her patiently help me find things in my sizes that I found on the website was amazing- I don’t even think she gets commission Her splendid attitude made my day so much better.
I have never left a review in my life but had to make my first one because of how bad my experience was. This used to be my fav store, but now they don’t care about their customers. Bought a pair of jeans for around 80 dollars. They fit loose on me when I bought them and I never even got to wear them outside once. I always wash my clothes once I buy them. I put them on delicate wash like all my clothes, and air dried. They shrunk so much after the first wash, they don’t get above the thighs. I went to the store in person, they said no return, exchange, nothing. Told me to call customer service. I did. They didn’t help and told me to go back to the store. After making me run all around town and make me waste so much time I got nothing. After shrinking these jeans literally wouldn’t fit anyone else I know to at least give away. I was still in the return period. This store said no because they said they’ve been washed and the tag was gone. Frankly I see it as a quality issue. They don’t care that they wasted my money. Nowadays when it’s so hard to get a job and pay rent. So disappointed after shopping there for years, I thought they would at least give me an exchange. Instead they just waste both my money and time and keep me running in circles. Not everyone has 70 dollars to spare or throw away. Edit: it has been a whole day and they have not addressed my concerns, instead this store just recently replied to another google review that gave them 4 stars to say thanks.
I am very upset. I purchased a dress on Saturday 19th, and when I got home and removed the tag, I noticed a giant pull across the front. The quality is extremely poor. I went into the store on 22nd July at 2 pm to return the faulty item, as I am entitled to under consumer law. The manager was incredibly rude. She insisted I call customer service to get a case number. On the phone, customer service confirmed I could have a refund if I provided the case number and then ended the call. When I gave the case number to the manager, she was again extremely rude and demanded I call customer service a second time because she didn’t believe me and wanted to speak to them herself. I had already been in the store for 30 minutes at this point. During the second call, the manager accused me of lying in front of customer service and said she would only offer an exchange. How could she know I was lying? This was highly unprofessional and humiliating. Customer service then backtracked and told me I could not have a refund. All I want is a refund for this faulty item.
Amazingg service!! I got helped right away and tried on 100 different things with no complaints only happy faces:) everyone is so friendly, especially Fatima. Great job ladies
Mahnaz was incredibly rude and my experience with her honestly ruined my evening. I came in with a few returns from 2 separate orders (one including an exchange). While in the store, I browsed around and actually tried on a few items, and ended up wanting to purchase one. A separate note - the change rooms were extremely dirty. I pulled the sheet to close the room/door and a ridiculous amount of dust encased my clothes. I typically lean toward online shopping over in store these days, and This alone made me want to never shop in store again. That aside, I went ahead to checkout to make my returns and my one purchase. Immediately without a hello, mahnaz asks for my email. I let her know I’d be returning items from two separate orders. She again says yes- give me your email. Sorry but for what? She initiated the process, and then through the internal intercom said “I need backup, this customer has like a LOT of returns”. Ok fine, made me feel really weird and kind of guilty about my returns, but no biggie. She did the first set, had me sign. Did the second set, had me sign - again called for backup “I need backup on cash, she has like 6 transactions”. My final return was an online order which I had exchanged in store for something else the week prior. I didn’t realize this return had to be done on a separate receipt. I had let her know it was from the online order and she “clarified” with me- essentially just talked me down like I was dumb and didn’t understand what was going on. When she realized it was not showing up, she got seemingly irritated. I had the other receipt so it was fine, but She gave me side eye to the point where I unnecessarily apologized and sorry. She did not respond. At the end and after paying for my item I had tried in store, I said thank you and I’m sorry about the returns. She rolled her eyes at me (I wish this was a joke.). There’s so much more to this (less than 10 minute long) experience I could speak to, but all in all, I’ve never felt this way in an in-store experience. I’ve worked retail for several years in my past and now work in various customer facing roles. I would never ever treat a customer this way, no matter how tired I was, annoyed I was, or how I felt about the job itself. Making someone feel bad about making a return is incredibly rude. Making a customer feel guilty when all they’re having you do is your JOB, is also not right. I’m a huge fan of dynamite, and have spent several hundreds of dollars at the store, and at Garage over the years. but I’ll be totally honest, this experience left me really upset and disappointed, questioning whether I had done something wrong, and later, questioning why I felt I owed her an apology for doing her job. I wish I had said something in the moment about her attitude or had asked for the manager. I hope no one ever experiences this again. And unfortunately, I’m not sure I’ll be shopping at dynamite in store or online again. Hopefully this is addressed with the team.
I normally hate dress shopping by myself - but the associate Lindsay made the experience so much tolerable. She was such a sweetheart and even went out of her way to make sure I was able to find what I wanted.
I had such a horrible experience at this dynamite location. I love their clothing but the customer service there was terrible. I was walking around with over 11 items, not a single person offered a fitting room or see if I needed help. Needed to purchase a few items, even in the fitting room - not one person asked I needed a size or help. I ended up going out of my room each few minutes to look for a size. I always shop at dynamite but this location was by far the worst customer service.
