Friendly service, not too busy. They held something for me for an extra day as i had a sick child at home and couldnt get there, very much appreciated. Clean store and their christmas bags are so cute!!!
Made an order online, got a confirmation email, got my card charged but never received my order. Contacted support, they said the order didn’t go through and they will refund me. Didn’t get my refund 3 weeks later. Contacted support again, this time they never actually charged me which is not true, since I have the charge in my credit card statement.
I had an excellent experience at Roots thanks to Alex. I was looking for a long coat and Alex went above and beyond to help me find the perfect one. He was patient, and really took the time to understand what I needed. Alex offered helpful advice on fit, style, and warmth without ever making me feel rushed. His friendly attitude and genuine willingness to help made the whole shopping experience enjoyable. Thank you, Alex!!
I had such a lovely time bag shopping today! Victoria was a great help and very knowledgeable. I really appreciated the time and patience she took with me looking over my options and picking the best bag for me! I appreciate her letting me know about the complimentary embossing service available for all leather goods as well. I will definitely be back once I figure out the perfect spot for mine!
I purchased multiple items, but the store told me they could only give me one shopping bag. It’s hard to understand why the only way to receive an extra gift bag would be to make several separate transactions — it doesn’t feel efficient or customer-friendly. The cashier wasn’t particularly friendly, but the associates who helped me around the store were very kind and attentive.
I had a bad experience here today evening, the second cashier was helping me while the lady next to him was serving my friend. He stopped while helping me to help the lady with the first cashier. When I later said “excuse me” they all ignored me and the one standing at the back told me “I should wait.” He had no remorse nor a smile after, he just said “are u ready to pay.” I was waiting to pay!!! Unfortunately this felt racist because that was a white lady who he decided to help and ignore me. It felt like she was more important than I was. Shout out to Ishika tho, she was amazing when helping us while we were shopping.
If I can’t touch a bag on the display then put up a sign. If there is a sign and I missed it, kindly point it out to me instead of condescendingly saying “Let’s not touch the display”. Sorry, ma’am, last time I checked it was a Roots clothing store not the Louvre Museum. Am I not allowed to try on clothes and accessories? I felt completely uncomfortable and belittled. Jan 3rd 11am white lady with all white hair folding clothes at the front. Needless to say I won’t be back and I advise everyone who wants a comfortable shopping experience to go elsewhere. A sad representation of Canadian culture for a high tourist area.
