This Pro Passport Photo location at Hasty Market does not honour their refund policy. I went to take my passport picture at this Hasty Market because of the glowing reviews, though it turned out to be a tiny rectangular light mounted in the corner wall of the store beside a drink machine. The photo they took was rejected by the Passport office due to glare. I went to another store closer to the office, since I wanted to retake the photo on the same day of the application. When I later went back to this Hasty Market for a refund, they asked me when the photo was taken (which was only a couple weeks ago, and photo was stamped with the date). Then after checking, they said they don't do refunds, only retakes, because they use a third-party. When I called them out on it by mentioning Pro Passport Photo's refund policy (refund within 181 days), and showed it on my phone, they claimed that was the third-party's policy and that their store can have their own policy and would not provide a refund. I recommend taking a photo at a location close to the Passport office, since if the office rejects your photo, you can retake it quickly on the same day (you're given a ticket number so you can leave and come back without losing your spot in line). Also, the other place I went to had a much better setup (large back lighting, seat, reflector for under the chin, and a mirror and tissues to fix up before you take your photo).
We came here to take a passport picture for our 6 month old baby. Management was super helpful and nice, definitely adds a friendly and caring vibe to the neighbourhood.
Hasty Market staff are SO sweet, friendly and helpful! I phoned this morning at 8am to ask if they have potatoes and they said their delivery will come in 2 hours, so I can come and buy in 2 hours. Then when their delivery arrived, they phoned me back to say they have the potatoes I wanted. I didn’t even give them my phone number but they contacted me. They really go the extra mile! Great store that sells what you need!
