They scam me by selling a detergent for 12$ while it was literally 4$ in dollarama closeby. Never go to this place. They are scamming people and the recent reviews speak for themselves
If I could rate this in the negative I would. Don't ever order through Uber eats from this location they will lie and make it appear that they have completed through the app so your credit card is charged. Then send you the wrong item. I placed an order last night for 3 bags of chips. One wasn't available so it was refunded. The other two the merchant confirmed through the app that it was available and marked it off as completed. When the delivery person dropped it off it was just 1 bag of chips. I contacted Uber they are saying the items is not eligible for a refund. After the merchant never gave the item to the driver for him to deliver it. No wonder this storm has a low rating they are thieves. If you don't desperately need to shop at this store...go else where.
Suprisingly good coffee my brother who lives in a group home almost across the street kept prompting me to go there for coffee instead of the Timmies at Dufferin I kept taking him to until today when I gave in and said ok let’s go there and lo and behold it was not only good but as I spoke to the Owner he showed me a ‘ @michelin rating ‘ for his coffee too. Anyway worth a try if you’re in the Dufferin / College area PS: the only thing better than the coffee ☕️ is the friendliness of the Owners who were also very happy to see my brother Rodney and not just because as a coffee addict he’s in their store for coffee / coke and .. at least a few times a day
This place might give splish splash a run for their money being the most expensive convenience store in the city! Poor selection and almost everything is overpriced. Staff is always mean
Really Friendly Staff. It's Big Convenience Store in Dundas Street & Dufferin Avenue. Purchased two Lotto Tickets, store selling all Lotto products including Triple Million $20 Ticket too. Paid by cash. If using Credit card cost you extra quarter. Open 24 hours and Parking available front of the store.
The in-house home-brewed coffee is a surprising bonus to this friendly family-run business. It's mild, yet delicious-tasting coffee. Save your money on expensive coffee and try one of these next time you're in the area. Bonus the place is clean, friendly, and Convenient like its namesake.
I stopped in after an appointment close by since I saw they had coffee. I could have gone anywhere else known for coffee, but since my car was parked along the street, it was mostly convenient (way to live up to it’s namesake!) I picked up a coffee a birthday card and some Frito Lays. Cute selection of cards for just over $3.00 but the real reason for this review is the coffee. It was surprisingly so good. I will stop by when I visit the area next time to confirm the coffee is still good or if it was simply a one-off. It will certainly make my trips out here from Durham region more bearable.
