I went there to buy a pack of cigarette which is Marlboro smooth 20 pcs small size. And I asked for the price the guy there charged me 22 bucks Canadian. I paid in cash, This is totally scam.
I really love this store and the brothers who own it—they’re always kind and super lovely to talk to and make me feel welcomed That’s why today’s experience was so disappointing. The guy working had an attitude from the moment I walked in—rude, dismissive, and clearly not interested in helping. He told me their “new machine” couldn’t do split payments, but I work in customer service and use POS systems daily—I know that’s not true. Most systems can easily process partial payments manually. I told him I only had a dollar in cash and the rest on debit, but not enough to fully pay on my card—I was just trying to buy a soda. He was arrogant and condescending the whole time. I get that it might be a bit annoying to punch in a manual amount, but it’s a dollar store, not the Ritz. No need to treat people like they’re a problem.
Fantastic addition to the Beach and a must destination for everything from home supplies to ice cream. This is more than a Dollar Store with owners who genuinely care about their customers and community. Check out their great wine and beer selection while your there.
I went to this convenience store last year to get a drink, and my hairs were raised because I could see from my peripheral vision that the shop keeper was staring pretty hard. He started asking how old I was, and when I confirmed I wasn't a teenager, he said he knew it because of the way I was "moving around the store, it was more mature." I laughed it off to be polite, but was already irritated. What happened to the old adage "never ask a woman her age?" I guess my uncomfortable laughter encouraged him to ask me more questions, specifically my gym routine, because "he could tell from my body that I worked out". I thought it would be an uncomfortable moment I would forget about, but every time I walk by, it brings me back to that moment, so I thought it's worth getting off my chest.
Amazing selection and great prices on everyday goods. They have an entire line of of olipop drinks that are hard to find. I also like their party and balloon section.
I always have a great experience here. They offer some unique items and generously provide liver treats for the dogs. I love this addition to the Beaches!
Wow! Such an amazing shop. It has a bigger selection than any convince store I have ever seen definitely a place to stop by for almost anything you can think of
