This store charges 6.99 for a single packet of ramen. Wouldn't let me cancel on uber eats. Who even sell a single packet for the same price as a regular pack. What kind of scammers are these people?
I feel completely ripped off by this place. I went in to buy a vape that usually costs about $35, but they charged me $55, that is twenty dollars more than the normal price. I tapped my card quickly, and only noticed the higher amount after the payment went through. When I asked for a refund immediately, they refused, even though the product was unopened. Just beware of unethical pricing at this place.
This place is actually the greatest. If you want to find every Ramen noodle flavour available, it is here. They also have treats and snacks from all over the world and they always carry essential items. Their chocolate bar game is unmatched. The best convenience store around.
I was a big fan of this corner store, especially since it's 24/7 and I really try to support stores in the neighbourhood. I've always stopped by because they have so many unique snacks and drink options but my last experience there was undesirable and incited anger from the way I was spoken to over the phone. I went in late Saturday evening (12:50am) to purchase a bag of chips and a popsicle. Upon tapping my debit and leaving, I was called back by the cashier to inform me, that my payment did not go through. Thinking nothing of it, I tapped again and the payment was confirmed by him, and thus I was on my way home. A few days later, I checked my online banking and noticed that I had been deducted twice from my chequing account and so I called the store, was informed that the owner would be in around 8pm and to stop by and he would take care of him. I went on over that evening and was informed, owner not on site, but the cashier called the owner over the phone to look into this (same cashier as Sat night coincidentally). They both (owner on phone) and cashier tell me the payment only went through once on their machine and show me the transactions, but yet, I was still charged twice. Owner on the phone is put on speak phone to talk to me and tells me to wait a few days for the "charge to reverse" and addresses me as "Sister" and that he won't be making business off my $10.00. I don't know what business this man runs but who speaks like that to customers (regulars, who live in the neighbourhood) and I clearly will not get my interac charges reversed since once you tap on interac, the money is gone (this isn't a credit card). I called the bank after this frustrating interaction since the store owner doesn't want to take accountablility, and the bank did indeed confirm I was charged TWICE. This store has a faulty POS system and just because it shows it didn't go through there, they think it's bible, when I've clearly paid $20 dollars for a bag of chips and popsicle now. So be aware, and always ask for your receipt, because they don't give you that either when you pay. I will never return to this store even though it's close to me and neither will any of my family or friends. He is a total crook - and btw, I know he will respond to this because he seems very petty based on the other poor reviews received, I am still waiting for my "charge to be reversed". Absurd.
If you’re looking for soda, this is the PLACE!! They have all kinds of crazy drinks at decent prices. Guy behind the counter was super chill and coffee is like a dollar. Super cool place
I came here everyday day for breakfast and lunch for 2 years while working a project in the area. The food is fantastic, Suny and the staff there are amazing. Sushi, sandwiches, dumplings, everything was great!!
Love this place! I used to go every day for lunch when I worked in the area. The food is tasty and staff are very nice. Liz Anne sandwich, spicy chicken sandwich and fish sandwich are some of my favourites.
