I recently purchased a townhouse that was an assignment sale. The previous purchaser had carpet installed in the hallway and bedroom which I disliked. The Floor Shop gave me a very reasonable quote to have all the carpet removed and installed the same hardwood throughout the upstairs that was on the main level. The installers did an amazing job and were very polite and courteous. I was very impressed with this company and their staff. This company hires the right people and does a fantastic job!! We recently had our basement floors redone with luxury plank vinyl. The flooring material and workmanship was excellent. There were a few minor unforeseen additional work requirements to get the job done right. They honored their original quote and no additional charges were applied. We greatly appreciate their level of professionalism.
Just had a new hardwood floor installed in my condo by The Floor Shop (Wicksteed). They'd previously done a similar job for me in my former residence, 5 or 6 years ago. Both jobs were done pretty much to perfection. Top drawer experience from my first phone call thru the consult, and the actual installation, this time done by Wojtek and Marko. True pros - did the work extremely well and completed it ahead of schedule. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of new flooring, and will hire them in the future without hesitation.

He helped us choose the perfect engineered hardwood for our home and patiently answered our many questions. New flooring was part of a larger renovation and we appreciate Peter and Ryan being accommodating and supportive with our unpredictable schedule. When we were ready the installers came to our home and in a matter of days we had beautiful new floors. Awesome experience. Darren and Ron took lots of time to explain the difference in quality (imports vs. domestic). They were so helpful and held the product while we were under construction (there were many delays!). The result is fantastic. It's one of the first thing that visitors comment on. Our designer was also very impressed and will definitely be referring clients to these folks. If you want excellent value and expert advice, stick with the Hardwood Flooring Store.
Highly recommend! My experience throughout the entire process from visiting their store, having an estimate done to the actual installation was great. All the staff are very professional and helpful answering questions. Had my entire 2nd floor redone and removed carpet and the quality of new floor from the team was excellent. Just completed my third condo installation by The Floor Shop over the past ten years. The owner Peter and his staff have always been very helpful and accessible from the initial assessment and quote through the final installation. The most recent job required extra steps to level out and seal the floor slab and Peter's staff coordinated the trades to ensure an optimal surface before the engineered hardwood was installed. I highly recommend the Floor Shop for their exceptional customer service and their installation crews are probably the best in the business.
